We got take away so no sit down this time. The food is authentic and delicious with perfect blend of spices. We had 3 tacos each different to try. Then the chicken tostada bowl. Wow. It was perfect. Soft street tacos that were tender and flavorful. Carne was my fave. The chicken tostad was HUGE and so good. Located in the south hill area of spokane, in tje building where Gordys was for many years Gena’s Mexican Kitchen is a great new place to eat. We had breakfast there today and YUM! We are a party of four and each of us got a different thing and we all left full and happy and with leftovers. We stopped in for lunch on 11/12/25 and I was VERY IMPRESSED with every part of Gena’s! Gena greeted us right away. The whole place is clean and nice. The bathroom was spotless. We sat ourselves, and had fresh salsa, chips & beans at the table immediately. Without asking, we were given drink refills and fresh beans.
