It's not that I hated the place it's their customer service. We came on Saturday night it was a little before 9 we had tried to go to Waddell's next door but they were not serving food so we came next door to twigs and the very nice Hostess said yes we're open till 11. So my friend did I decided to enjoy the evening and sit out on the patio. There was three other tables that were full of the time we ordered our drink and then we decided to look at the appetizer menu the waitress came back twice as we were still talking and visiting seemed a little irritated cuz we weren't really ready however we went ahead and ordered not even 5 minutes after we ordered and maybe 15 minutes after we got our drinks she told us it was last call. Because they decided since it was slow they were going to close early. We had mentioned that we had told we were told they open till 11 however she said well when it's slow we close. But don't worry you have plenty of time we've got tons to do. Two of the tables had left we had gotten our food and our drinks and we were still visiting she brought us our bill and seem to be in such a rush. The other table had left it was 10:20. We kind of felt that since we had ordered those drinks and the food we were going to finish them with ease and not have to worry about hurrying it was a quarter till maybe 10 till and the manager said we're closing the doors you need to finish now so my friend had to not finish her drink. Actually I forgot to mention also that before 10 they turned on all the lights so the nice audience that we were enjoying out on the patio was not there anymore either. Maybe they should put their hours on the doors for a Saturday night summertime not very many people around or other places that might help. I will never go to twigs again I will never definitely recommend Twigs to anybody and very disappointed very. I would have felt more welcome at a McDonald's going through the walk...

In addition, attempts to discuss the issue with management was met with avoidance and blame placed on us. My family booked a private room at Twigs to gather following my mother's funeral since most of us were from out of town. We were told that the room would be free if we ordered over $100 in food and drinks, which was not an issue as there were approximately 30 of us. We explained we had kids coming and some individuals with allergies and were told that they would give us a fixed menu with a cost $15 per person for food, but that the kids and person with allergies could order off the regular menu. Drinks were extra. When we arrived the room was not set up and staff was not readily available.We had to set up the tables ourselves. We were given a fixed menu with no prices and not offered a regular menu even when we asked for one. The service was really slow and disorganized for food and drinks and many of us had to go down to the bar to order our drinks. When we got our bills we were all shocked at the price of our dinners, but everyone was too tired emotionally to challenge anything so we all scrambled and paid the exorbitant bills. When I investigated, I found that the items on the fixed menu were all the most expensive items on their menu ($20 and up) and that we were all charged the regular menu price, rather than the $15 per person we were promised. I called the management the next day but never received a return call. I sent an email and was contacted by the GM for all the Twigs restaurants. He blamed my niece who set up the reservation, but stated he would have the management call her or me. Neither of us heard from them. Twigs made a lot of money off my family that night. Read moreIf I could leave a 0 star review I would. I placed an order on Grubhub at 7:30PM when the app said you accepted orders until 7:45PM. Your store did not close until 8PM. Everything going fine. Order was placed, food being prepared, driver at the restaurant for pickup....Just for him to find out you are closed?! He arrived at the restaurant a couple minutes after 8PM. So either you didn’t bother to make the food or made the food then closed when he didn’t arrive in time??? I mean why accept orders up to a certain time so close to your closing time if you won’t fill them?! It’s not like it’s easy for people to get food or have food delivered with all the closures and risks. Now here I am at 8:30PM with a hungry family trying to find somewhere still open that can deliver so I don’t have to risk going out and potentially bringing back an illness that could jeopardize my family. You know I love your restaurant. I go there A LOT actually. Not anymore! I will not be back because of this. You would think in this time you would appreciate my business since you can’t have any in restaurant diners. But NOPE! You couldn’t get this order right. I am sincerely disappointed. I wouldn’t have left such a negative review without trying to reach out to the store first but I tried to call just a couple minutes after 8 and the phone just rang and rang...I guess customers don’t come first at all for you guys....Lost more than a few customers...
