I went back, this weekend, as friends wanted to eat here, but If I can avoid eating here, I will. This needs to be shared. 6-17-18 I visited this Wendy's and as we reached the second window the manager leaned out with our food and yelled what it was at us so quickly you'd think we were at an auction. Yelled. Not talked loudly, flat out yelled at us. All three of us in the car just looked at each other like "what the hell just happened?" The following are the emails that resulted, as I was not okay with being treated like that. From Manager: "Dear valued customer, I am so very sorry for your experience at our store on 6-17-18. I am reaching out to u to find out what I can do for u to make your visit more welcoming. Again I am so very sorry and I your visit next time will sure to blast you." My response: "We did not catch your name, as the yelling was so fast and alarming. I now need to request it as you did not include it in your email response. What's more, you did not read your response before sending, again showing a lack of respect. I hope that as you read your response below, you realize it makes no sense, and even sounds as though you are promising to yell at us again. I would expect a response from a manager to have each word spelled out (not abbreviated like a text message, this is a formal communication, we are not old friends). I would also expect that someone in a management position would be able to form sentences that are legible. I am saddened this restaurant, that I have been going to for around 12 years, has someone who just doesn't care at the helm. Your industry is about customer service. If you are having a bad day, you need to put it behind you. Care about your job. Take pride in the work you do. Treat your customers as you would want to be treated. I have always enjoyed Wendy's. Growing up, it was among the few fast food restaurants we would visit. Your location is most convenient for us, but I can honestly say that I will not want to return for a while. I don't know what happened today. We have been to this location so many times over the years. I sincerely hope that it is not a recurring problem and that you take my advice above to heart." Assistant Manager's Response: "Dear Suzi, I am so so sorry about the way you were treated when you visited my restaurant and for the response you received from my manager. This is highly unacceptable and will be taken care of so it doesn't happen again! If there is anything I can do to put your trust back into our restaurant please let me know. We value you as a customer and I do not take this lightly, I will do what I can to make it right. Please get back to me! Shania (assistant manager)" I did not respond. I am not emailing for free food, though I do believe there should have been an offer made. Instead of going down the chain of command, this should have gone up. But there is no way to contact Wendy's directly. You have to talk to the store that you went to. I never received the...
Read moreMore recent years Wendy's has seemingly overhauled menu into what every other fast food place would be foolish to ignore and view as a big threat to good percentage the business on the market! Both with breakfast and lunch/dinner options... The morning sandwiches with real egg, by far best bacon and best french toast sticks also are not just heavy competition but in my opinion way ahead the pack when bring in price point comparison. Frosty coffee.. out this world.. like Starbucks eating it's dust. Then after b-fast menu with 4 for $4 with option for bigger sandwich just $1 more, hmm sry all else it's really hardly close on affordability with quality and quantity. Idk how might even oppose with any other place being matched against taking it all into account altogether. Open later than all but what maybe 2-3 other establishments. Can't forget about the app as well to gain those points with what buying anyway to get free food on next trip down road, as well as matching what want with a coupon to save money, maybe not into tht somehow yet seems more than half aren't or else patience can't be obtained whether its extra 15sec or 2min. Is wht is I can only try, I can't force savings, points or free food on anyone or believe it would've happened by now! Definitely one better fast food food options out there with fresh great taste, tasty delicious fries, awesome prices for most part and just feel overall can't really go wrong, especially on a budget even a real tight one! Enjoy and Thanks listening to my opinion hopefully matches majority folks making for place to find out if even somewhere...
Read morewent to wendys a lil before noon on Saturday. the employee service was polite, fast, knowledgeable and kind. sadly thats the only highlight from the trip there. even tho the food tasted ok, my stomach reacted negatively in such a terrible way (which has never reacted this way to a wendys burger), constantly running to the bathroom over the next few hours. the wendy's male bathroom was so appalling, disgusting, had 2 large flies constantly buzzing around me, the toilet would not flush properly, had to flush the toilet at least 6 times just to have the water flush the "__" stuff down the toilet. bathroom was a mess, no paper towel in the dispenser. most of the tables in the dining room were beyond dirty, were in need of some serious cleaning. a random wiped off broccoli on a window sil next to us. more flies in the dining room. every staff member had no hair net on at all. esp the cook. they do wear a small visor cap but that doesnt do jack when the employee's hair is not put up in a bun, esp with no hair net. working in a kitchen service in my past, a hat is fine as long as you put your hair up in a ball or something, not letting it dangle about as you work in the kitchen (their hair went past their neck). esp the manager had long blond hair, no visor, no hair net, helping servicing food. i am shocked there was no hair in my food. just really gross that theres no hair nets worn by anyone. def...
