Bigfoot Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Washington

My boyfriend and I went in to just have a few drinks on a Saturday evening. We arrived and Football is on all 3 Screens which was nice. We sat at the far side of the bar closer to the restrooms, noticed that the seats are very worn down and ripped and there was a musty smell coming from what we think was the carpet. As we were ordering drinks we got them really fast, as she was dropping them off the bartender stated "pull tabs are going to be a LONG TIME" She takes our 40 dollars worth of pull tabs and goes back to work. I assumed she was the only one on the clock but then I noticed several people (not in work attire) go behind the bar and talk to the back kitchen staff and did not help the poor bartender that was running around serving everyone. I think in total 5 people came behind the bar talking about "what happened last night was so crazy" and they talked about the fight and how someone broke into someones cars"... After about 40 minutes we had 2 beers and finally got our first basket of Pull tabs. We waited due to her being busy. We finished our beers and left and I will never be back sadly unless things change. I Was really hoping for a unique bar experience with maybe just 1 picture of Bigfoot, or some cool artifacs posted ,or articals on the bar to read... It just is not the place to be sadly..

ALL i can think of as a first time impression being here just to have drinks. ~Pull tabs long wait to get and cash in ~Drinks okay * ~Food Dont eat here (have u sat near the kitchen and seen the walk in?) ~People** people who are regulars get served faster and many "undressed workers behind the bar not helping or assisting" ~Bathrooms clean but small, they keep the doors open??weird ~Inside*okay, tables are clean, bar is clean, but floors and drink coasters STAY AWAY FROM ~Outsidelooks clean, no trash, plus for bonus seating and pool tables out back * only cool spot

This place has been in operation since 1972! I was expecting a dark and dirty little dive, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is also much larger on the inside than it seems. There is plenty of parking in back as well, I was worrird as I pulled in because I was hauling a trailer. LOL

For the smokers there is a HUGE outdoor heated and enclosed area complete with tables, chairs, and pool tables. Inside there is plenty of seating and room to roam with an appropriate amount of non- harsh lighting so you are able to see across the room. There is a jukebox with various music tastes and the volume is set so you can still have conversation AND hear what's being played. The restrooms didn't disgust me and were relatively clean and stocked. If you go earlier in the evening you will meet some of the long time locals whom are friendly. We joined a few folks at their table. The later it gets the younger the crowd is, as with most establishments.

They offer a full bar with a good amount of beer selection and the bartenders can make a decent drink even if they aren't familiar with it. They do serve food, mostly the typical bar food you crave like burgers and such...and for the more seasoned folks, they have fried gizzards! I just ordered hot wings and tater tots. The wings were pretty good, although I like them more crispy and forgot to tell them to fry them longer and the tots were abundant and perfect (did not taste like overused oil).

In summary, I would add this place to your list of pretty good bars to go to if you aren't looking for too loud and crowded or to slow and boring. By the end of our evening the place was pretty packed but still able to move around...

Unfortunate I’m sitting here at a table watching a gentleman at the bar order is a drink and tell the lady it is not what he wants. The waitress was very rude. Told him to either step aside or move away from the bar. You know I can come in here for years and this place used to be friendly pregnant or not you should try to be kind to the people that you are serving they’re the ones that pay your damn paycheck. Maybe being pregnant you should probably go home and not be mean to your customers. Well to respond to your comment. I’m very disappointed that you would put on here that the gentleman was being Disrespectful you seem to forget I was sitting right directly behind him right next to the bar, listening to the entire conversation. He politely asked you to check the beer that you served him in which he believed it was not a microbrew like listed You said I am pregnant. Do you think that I’m gonna taste that you were very rude with the way you answered him and he was not in any way being disruptive he just asked if you would please check. And you didn’t politely ask him to move away from the bar you had two ladies standing there and you told him I don’t have time for this. You can either take it or leave the bar that’s what you...
