SHORTCUT CENTRAL: OVER PRICED, POOR PORTIONING AND LACKS QUALITY!

I’m a culinary/Hospitality management school Dean’s List graduate. This is a qualified review:

The “sauce“ taste like institutional grade tomato soup made with too much water and lacks flavor. I’m afraid of what they would pass off as Bolognese.

Ordered a traditional cheesesteak with the peppers, onions and mushrooms, and “I think” I may have spotted a shriveled sliver of Green bell pepper, maybe a small dice or two of onions and I hope it was a mushroom. Protein in this case would have been the “steak” in “cheesesteak” Which was overcooked and dry. Clearly a rush job and clearly a penny pinching outfit. Clearly short, changing customers in order to keep the personal margin fat. Either The owner is very cheap or whoever is managing Is completely under qualified or just don’t care.

An order of mozzarella sticks is eight dollars here for a serving of five Which works out to $1.60 per mozzarella stick. Even with the current surge in the price of cheeses, this is pure, unadulterated greed Also indicative of petty and cheap decision-makers. The usual serving is 6 to 8 for between $6.95 - $8.95. These people are so cheap, they skim one and charge people near Max. You’ll see higher prices in some of your more upscale places.

There are much better options where you will pay the same Or a little less within a 10 mile radius of that place

This place is not one that I would recommend. In fact, I would recommend...

I’ve given Gennaro’s multiple chances. They never fail to disappoint me! Every time I place an order, they don’t start making it until I’m already at the restaurant… sorry but why did I even place an order over the phone 20 minutes ago??Right because I’m an idiot and forgot this place sucks and I was desperate for pizza! My bad. Should have just drove up the road to Sandy’s (at least they actually make your order). And btw the place is always empty, so you can’t make a “they were busy” excuse. Once inside you turn your attention to the two older women working the register, you’ll notice they’re insanely rude and will roll their eyes at the drop of a hat. not sure why every. single. time. I’m assuming they just hate their lives or something? Most likely the manager does not pay them a lot. Or I guess this the normal way a “successful” business treats customers? Very very very strange! And finally once you receive your food, in some weird twist of fate the food is already cold! This place makes you feel like YOU’RE the idiot for wanting to eat there! Sooooo good luck with your business and please...

I came here to say what a wonderful place this is. I ordered food from them last minute for both my sons birthday parties, they were more than accommodating and very helpful with when trying to decide what to get. More than anything the food was absolutely amazing, everyone at the party raved about how much they loved the food. I have ordered pizza from here before, but never catered. I am so glad that we did and we will certainly be catering with them again. Some of the tray we ordered were penna vodka, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, and chicken Francese... I also loved the Margaretta pie. The food all went.. Thank you for doing such an amazing job, we cannot wait to...
