Maria's Pizza Spotswood — Restaurant in Spotswood

Fantastic pizza, so thankful to have them in town. However, only order over the phone, not online. Took a star off for their online ordering. Legitimately every time I’ve ordered online, it’s like they don’t pay attention to it. I’ve ordered for pick up 2 times online, and both times I arrive at the store after the time their site tells me, and they begin making the order when I tell them about it, causing me to have to wait an additional 15/20 minutes. My husband ordered online tonight for delivery. We were told 45 minutes. After an hour 15 minutes, he called the store and said they were still working on it, that it would be about 20 more minutes…aka the amount of time it takes to bake a pizza. Whenever I’ve called in my order, I’ve never had to wait extra. Please either fix your issues with the online system, or eliminate it. Again, pizza is best in town and it won’t stop me from ordering, but it’ll be the last time I ever use the...

I've only tried this Maria's twice - but so far they're 2 for 2.

First time we had the 16" bar pie - and it was VERY good. Nice and thin, crispy, and had really good flavor. They top this almost to the edge which is great.

The second time - we had the Grandpa pie - which is a thin square Sicilian-style pie with vodka sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. This was probably the best vodka style pizza I've had yet. Vodka pizzas have become one of my favorites over the past few years, and I was very happy with it here. The sauce is delicious, they're generous with the cheese - and they top the pie from edge to edge. The crust is light, crispy and delicious. EXCELLENT - and I highly recommend it.

Overall, in our two experiences, I'm very happy with Maria's Spotswood and we'll be ordering from here often. I wish them much success and I hope they stay here for many...

I have done both carry out and delivery at Maria’s. Their food is delicious! They have GENEROUS portions, and the staff is awesome! Customer service excellent. I have had only one meal I was not thrilled about but it just needed more sauce for my preference, but it was nonetheless good. BUT let me tell you the chokehold their garlic bread has on me! It is the best not homemade garlic bread I have had. It is garlicy, buttery and toasted to perfection! It is just as good if not better left over the next day room temperature. Their Spotswood location doesn’t have much of a dining area, but for grab and go meals, I highly recommend...
