The Lodge of Spring Grove — Restaurant in Spring Grove

It was our first time at the lodge & the atmosphere is so fresh and welcoming. Danielle was our bartender/server and she was so nice and welcoming. We ordered the brisket sliders as an app and they had good flavor but the meat didn’t seem like it was fresh/homemade. My husband ordered the Texas chicken sandwich and that was amazing! Great flavor and good crispy chicken. The smash burger was kind of disappointing, the patties didn’t seem like fresh beef and had a weird texture and they weren’t thin like how I imagined they’d be. They have a good beer selection as well (we both got a hazy IPA)! Overall we enjoyed our experience and will be back to try more items...

Food was horrible. Might be the worst quality burger we've ever had. We've now tried it twice. The service was not good either time, but recent it was worse. Talking to bar patrons, and her cell phone, was much more important than the restaurant. There was a newly walking child in the kitchen, digging in the back side of his diaper, and then touching everything on the bottom shelf of the table in the kitchen to the right of the door, and grabbing at a cooler door inside the left of the kitchen. I cant imagine what's on that handle, or the kitchen items on the bottom shelf of that table. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...... nope,...

Nelle, our waitress was exceptional, as she provided us with staff favorites including beer and dishes that did not disappoint!
