First time eating here. Took us about 15 minutes for a table. It was very crowded. Sat at a nice 8 person round table. Ordered half off bottle of wine and some pretzels with beer cheese. Beer cheese was good and nothing too special with the pretzel. Dinner kids got salmon, cheeseburger and fettuccine Alfredo. They all really enjoyed their meals. Not sure why there was no sides for the pasta so when ordered a fruit cup as a side got charged 5 dollars. You guys need to fix that in the system. For adults we got chicken finger platter, Roadhouse burger, bbq chicken and fish and chips. Everything was hot and yummy.
My one issue is the bar has a large garage door like opening to the outside and then doors to the dining area. Because of this I got quite a few bugs and bug bites during the meal. I recommend to close the door to the bar possibly?

Their fish and chips and burgers are amazing! I just recommend steering clear of the pasta dishes and anything with shrimp. Lastly, their soda has been flat all 3 times we’ve visited. Don’t recommend getting soda. But overall much better experience!
Original review: I absolutely love that a decent restaurant is right outside of my neighborhood! Let’s start with the positives: Amazing atmosphere and great bar! My husband got a couple drinks from the bar. I did not because I don’t like beer. Negatives: The drink menu had beer and wine but no signature cocktails. Considering they have a full bar, I found that bizarre. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly. Lastly, and most importantly, the food was subpar. We got the spinach con queso for an appetizer. It didn’t have much flavor at all & desperately needed salt. I had the seafood pasta which was not good at all. The shrimp were those tiny pre-cooked previously frozen rubbery bay shrimp. I had them add the rattlesnake pasta seasoning to the pasta, and even with the seasoning, it lacked flavor and salt. Very bland. I couldn’t even eat it. My husband ordered a filet and salad. They brought his salad first, which he said was good. When they brought our entrees out, they brought a big plate with just a hunk of meat on it and nothing else. It was very unappetizing and not plated… well, at all. He said it was cooked perfectly, but again, lacked flavor. I know Aubrey’s is new and working out some kinks right now, which is perfectly understandable. We will visit again in a month or two and I will update my review accordingly. Lastly, the bathroom! There were no hooks in the stalls to put a coat or purse! I tried to figure out what to do with my stuff because I cannot put my belongings on a public bathroom floor. I ended up walking out and handing all my stuff to my husband. Then to make matters worse, there was no toilet paper in the stall. I had to ask someone else in the bathroom to hand me toilet paper- and she informed me there wasn’t any toilet paper in another stall too. Someone should be tending to the bathrooms very regularly. Simple things to fix- but these little things can end an otherwise pleasant evening on...
Read moreWe went back a month later, also Sunday and were very pleased: the coffee freshly brewed, the beef tenderloin on madeira sauce in the small plate section was marvelous. The chicken and almond soup was good too. We had the chocolate and ice cream for desert, good but not espectacular. Taylor was our server again, excellent work. I am changing my review to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you!
My frustrated first visit: Almost 3 stars...but saved by the service... After trying to dine in for 3 times and a wait list of over 45min, (with no way to join a wait list online either), finally Sunday 2:38pm we were able to walk in. It is all new and nice. Their menu apparently assume hot/spice food as standard (without any notice or warning), which is not the case for us. The Spinach dip was much hotter than mild to our taste and spolied the experience for us. The coffee tasted and looked "old". I ordered the basil pasta with chicken breast. Pasta and sauce were good, but the sliced pieces of chicken were cold, like 'just got out of the fridge' cold. My husband asked the waiter, Taylor if it was supposed to be cold, he affirmed. But in a few minutes came back and took my plate. My husband ordered the Ribeye, which was blackened (and he had no idea or wouldn't have ordered). The salad he ordered with his food was brought only halfway he finishing his meal (after we reminded then), by the time I got my fresh pasta, this time fresh grilled chicken and fresh sauce. The coffee was replaced 30 min after we informed it was not good. There was an accident (not caused by us) with the cream brought in a disposable container. Our server was very attentive to our needs, kept bringing us fresh water. As I said, because of him, 4 stars or I would have easily rated ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The restaurant was NOT crazily full, perhaps 65% which does not justify in my opinion the 'not met 'basic culinary standards. Again, this rating is based on our experience, and my view. By the way, the Prairie cheesecake was good (though I tasted the butter more than I wanted to). The bread and butter...
