Bayleaf Indian Restaurant is a hidden gem. The restaurant is a little hard to find as it currently has no sign, although one should be up soon, but you can find it in the same strip mall as UPS, next to Patel's Wine and Spirits. I found it on Google completely by accident while searching for somewhere new to take my wife for our anniversary. We both like Indian Food and so Bayleaf sounded perfect. From the moment we walked in the door and were warmly greeted, and seated, there were indications that it was going to be really good. There was an older couple near us who, from their body language and facial expressions, were clearly very much enjoying their meal. We asked our server, who we later discovered was the owner's wife, for recommendations and we were so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that need to be experienced! The atmosphere is also, in our opinion, nicer than at Aha Indian Grill. We asked for to go boxes because we did not want to waste a single mouthful of the food and then we chose to have dessert too because, well, I guess we are just piggies. Dessert was delicious too, of course. I was a little reluctant to even write this review because, as I told Anu, I selfishly don't want them to get so busy that we can't get a table there, but that would be doing Bayleaf a disservice because their food and restaurant really is so good that people need to know about it. Try them for yourself. I know you will not be...

For most of my life I enjoyed international cuisine options in the Pacific Northwest. Since moving to middle TN, I have found the selection to generally be underwhelming. I spotted the Bayleaf while shopping in the area, and decided to give it a shot. I did miss good Indian food!
I'm so glad I did. The food here is better than everything I had in the Seattle area. Tons of exciting options. Every time my wife and I come here, we try something different and everything we've tried has been fantastic. They'll make it proper spicy for you too!
The staff is very cheerful and kind, always making sure you walk away having had a wonderful meal. Try their desserts! Just thinking about them brings a smile to my face. I've brought my dad here, my kids, and it's the favorite date spot for me and my wife. If you like Indian food, or if you're just curious about it, I strongly recommend you give...
Read moreBayleaf is an amazing Indian Restaurant. It is the second Indian Restaurant built here in Spring Hill and us locals seem pretty blessed to have them here.
Anu is an amazing owner/manager. The rest of the staff are very cool. She and the rest of the employees will probably remember you and your name if you come often (that's a true small town factor).
The place is not a very Oscar worthy looking place. They only have seating for about 10 parties (5-10 people in each party). If they get a lot support from customers like you, then they might try to get a larger space (Anu is actually considering a larger space).
The food is amazing. I really love that they have a lunch buffet. Lunch buffets are probably the best way to attract customers. Their food is always fresh. My personal favorites are Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, and Buttered Chicken. There are other meat/vegetarian options. Also, they are very conscious about food allergies. You are in good hands. Don't forget a...
