Read moreWe’ve heard great things about Kansha and finally decided to try it. I’ll start by saying both of the rolls we ordered were delicious! I am a big fan of fried rolls and these did not disappoint. Our service was mediocre at best though. I’m making an assumption in saying that our server must be brand new. I asked a question about two rolls I was comparing while trying to decide which I wanted. One of them being the Kansha Roll. I hesitantly said the name of it because I wasn’t sure of proper pronunciation and he admittedly said he wasn’t sure how it was pronounced. Considering it’s the name of the restaurant, I was a little surprised. He was nice but definitely wasn’t very familiar with the menu or the food. When our rolls came out we asked which was which and he didn’t know for sure and guessed. After observing and trying them we agreed he got it mixed up. We always share and try each others so it was not a big deal at all. This combination of things is why I’d say service was lacking. I will definitely eat here again, I just may do...

The Vibe: Clean and inviting, with an Asian aesthetic and a hint of Southern charm in the bathroom, like a perfect mullet: business in the front, party in the back.
The Service: The waitress was warm, welcoming, and made real eye contact, enough said.
The Food: I had the ahi tuna poke bowl with sushi rice, lettuce (for that crunch), avocado, cucumber, shoyu, spicy mayo, and masago. Every bite was fresh and full of flavor. And the Thai iced tea, please, someone share that recipe!
The Big Picture: I usually don’t eat out much (I’m tired of disappointment), but Kansha wowed me. Supporting local spots like this is crucial, especially when they deliver better quality and value than big chains.
Bottom Line: If you want a place that respects your hard earned money, treats you like a friend, and sends your taste buds into orbit, this is it. Kansha delivers...
