Really craving some good Asian food and been anxious to try this new find in Spring Hill. Heard good things, so ready to be thrilled. I had a little bit wary when I realized it was situated in the middle of a small cluster of businesses, much like hundreds of other Chinese take out joints. Hopefully, the food wouldn't disappoint! Upon entering the establishment, I noted the upscale dining furniture and soft lighting, very nicely done! We seated ourselves and chose a booth away from the front door but not to close to kitchen. The waiter pleasantly greeted us with menus and took our beverage order,, and promptly returned with them and a complimentary appetizer of spiced Cucumber relish and peanuts. Delish! We ordered Chicken with cashews and Kung Pao chicken and a spring rolls. Each dish arrived piping hot accompanied with large portions of brown rice. The food didn't disappoint- each entrée was as good as they looked! My only disappointment with this restaurant was the noise. Because of the high ceiling, voices were amplified, making it very noisy inside. Additionally, the entrance had a large fan above the door that "whoosed" at every opening. And because deliveries came in and out of this door as well as customer pickups, it only continued to add to the noise. It was difficult to carry on a decent conversation and have a pleasant meal. We will definitely be returning to this establishment and you...
Read moreAfter a long afternoon moving our belongings into my our new apartment nearby, my mother and I were hungry. I suggested this place because it advertised bao buns and dumplings and I had always wanted to try bao. I'm glad we tried W'Lin's. This place bests every Chinese restaurant we had available in Bellevue.
The vegetable bao we ordered for an appetizer was delicious and the tangy, slightly sweet sauce that was served with it was amazing and unlike anything I've ever had. I don't even know what it's called but I wish I could put it on everything!
My mother had been turned off Chinese food by the poor quality that's been available to us where we used to live, but she delighted in how fresh and crunchy the mixed vegetables were with her stir fried chicken and noodles.
I had the kung pao chicken which proved to carry more of spicy punch than I could handle, but the dish itself was flavorful and the bell peppers were crisp, fresh and perfectly paired with...
Read moreWe went on a Friday afternoon, around 1:45. You seat yourself and we made sure a server saw us when we walked in. Our server was super sweet and told us all about the food. There were 5 of us eating and no, not all our food came out all at the same time but the delay between plates was only about 1 min. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. Get the dumplings! Yum. We were super thrilled to see the owner was someone we recognized. She used to manage/own (I’m unsure of which) Fulin’s before the recent new owners/managers. She was always so friendly, funny and cared about her customers when we are at Fulins. We were sad to find out she wasn’t there anymore, but thrilled she’s moved on to bigger and better things. Please check this place out and be gracious. Opening a new place is tough and working out the kinks can take a bit of time. If you experience a problem, let management know. They can’t fix what they...
