Arctic Snoballs — Restaurant in Spring Lake

Wow! Just wow!! We moved from MN to NC last week. And drove by this place and today we checked it out. We needed a little refreshing treat after a long day of unpacking and this place definitely hit the spot! There is SO many flavors to choose from. Italian ice and 'SnoBalls'. We are familiar with with shaved ice where we are from but tonight we wanted the very very thin ones which is snowballs. Italian ice to me is a thicker heavier shaved ice. I was taking pics and the owner Margie came out to see if we had any questions. I assume we looked confused as there was 2 different kinds of choices of shaved ice. She explained the difference and we did indeed make the right choice :) she was SO nice and friendly. When I'm telling you this, I'm not lieing. What a gem!!! She even let us try the Italian ice which was amazing as well. I even joked in a few years my son should get a job here ;) it's a laid back atmosphere with tables, bean bag game/cornhole. We all agreed we LOVED it and it is amazing. We will become regulars for sure!! Thank you Margie for being so sweet and welcome....

If I had to choose what's better between the ladies (Margie & Michelle) offering world-class customer service or the dogs and cones, I'd be in trouble. Every within an hour's drive should make a pit stop here for at least an hour, 1 time per week just to realize the world's just not as bad as it looks on TV. As soon as they start making angelito and diablito raspa cones, the only reason I won't be here everyday will be because I've sold everything I have, including my kids, and have gone bankrupt and no one will give me money on the streets anymore. Go here....

I didn't catch the woman's name who took our order, but she was so kind and accommodating. She made sure to explain some things since it was our first time. The hot dogs and spicy sausages were 🔥. So good. My kids loved their cotton candy snoballs and my husband and I got the shaved ice, which were great too. Flavors were on point and there was so so many to choose from. Definitely will be...
