in the area. Although their menu is much smaller than other Korean restaurants… the items they do have are done correctly! Their cold noodle combos are a must especially during the warm summer. The combination of cold broth and warm galbi is unmatched. Their marinade is the best and their short ribs are the most tender that I have had in this area. We also always order the beef yukhoe because it’s not a dish that is commonly found on menus and when it is, it’s not usually done well. I moved here from California and didn’t think I would find a restaurant that served yukhoe like they do over there. This restaurant does it even better than some of the places I’ve been to in California. The kimchi is super good and doesn’t taste like the store bought ones that other places seem to use. The owners are so sweet and always come and greet our 6 month old daughter and help entertain her while we eat. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are looking for good, authentic...
Read moreAs a person who has worked here I can attest to how much cross contamination occurs in the back and I have the picture evidence to prove it. The food can be tasty but I don't think it's worth food poisoning. I once ordered the lunch box and had an ant crawl out of the food. The environment is mostly always too quiet with only one TV playing kpop. As a warning for your safety I would advice not to eat there until they can stop cross contamination. In fact I got fired from there today for taking the pictures to launch a complaint to the health department and the owner even assaulted me and stole my phone with the pictures until the cops got there. Wouldn't recommend working there and definitely not eating if you care about food safety but if you only care about taste then sure, the food is delicious I'll admit that much. Remember fellow food service workers, if you see food safety violations that could get people sick and give them food poisoning, say something....
Read moreI absolutely love this place! The best Korean food I've had. Every dish I've had has been wonderful and I've left nice and full. The dumplings are so crispy and juicy on the inside. I had the Beef bone soup today and my husband had the seafood soup. My dish was simple yet flavorful and perfect for this rainy weather. The seafood bowl was flavorful and had plenty of mixed seafood in there. I will continue to come back to this place to keep trying more dishes, it's so good. And of course the little sides of kimchi and cucumbers and green beans are my favorite! The staff has always been very nice and polite too which is a huge plus. I would recommend this to anyone looking for Korean food or something hearty and...
