Sublime Cupcakes — Restaurant in Spring Township

These cupcakes were a huge dissapointment. They icing looked stiff and the cupcakes slightly over baked but they were still beautiful. I bought an assortment and the dissappointment was greater with each one. I probably finished not an entire cupcake but a bite from each one hoping the next would be good. The icing is stiff and sugary, not soft sweet and buttery. The cupcakes are over done leaving them dry and crumbly. What "all the rave" is about with this place is confusing--I guess the people who love it either don't care or have never actually had a good cupcake. This place is trendy--but...

Definitely not “sublime”. Cupcakes were “made this morning” per checkout rep. Went around 4pm and almost all cupcakes were sold out. Icing did not taste like butter cream, but instead of sugar icing (which I detest), icing was dry, and cake was tasteless and lacked moisture. I would come here for a small child who perhaps wouldn’t know taste and texture. Wouldn’t order cupcakes here for a serious or heartfelt event. It’s worth the trip to “Ady Cakes” in West Reading if you can make it. Will not be giving this store...

Sublime Cupcakes has always been good but unfortunately they have decided to shrink their cupcake sizes yet keep the same price. So now you pay a pricey fee for 1/3 the size of a normal freaking cupcake! Not worth it and completely outraged by this change! SUCH A RIP OFF!!!

Edit: The "Mini Monday" cupcakes do not have a significant price difference! Their reply...
