Friday Morning on February 18th, 2022: I did a mobile order to grab a coffee on my way to work. Let me preface that my order was a Spinach Feta Egg Wrap & and Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso with no modifications except addition of SF vanilla syrup (nothing crazy).
-8:22am: Mobile order was submitted and noted 6-9 minutes to be ready (~8:31am). -8:30ish: I arrive in the drive thru and there is a fairly long line of cars (no big deal). I get to the speaker and inform the barista I am picking up a mobile order. The barista informs me the drink isn't ready quite yet. No big deal, there's still a few cars ahead of me in the line anyway. -8:37am: I get to the window and was handed my breakfast food item. She went away to check on my drink and told me once again "It's still not ready" and to pull up and wait by the Thank You sign and they'll bring it out. -8:44am: Still no drink (this is 22 minutes after I placed the order). I decide to go inside and see what is taking so long thinking that they forgot I was waiting outside as directed. There are a lot of orders sitting on the counter and a lot of people waiting for their drinks/orders to be made. I checked the displayed drinks and my name is not on any of them. I go to the counter where there are 0 people in line and explain the situation to the barista and check on the status of my drink. She explains to me that Friday mornings are the busiest times and that my mobile order is still in the line to be printed. I asked if there was anyway the drink could just be made as I have the receipt and need to get to work. Again, I had put in the order 20 minutes ago on my drive there...She said that they could not make the drink since the ticket had not been printed yet. I then proceed to ask why the individuals in the drive thru seem to have gotten their drinks after me and she quickly explains that NEW drive thru & in person orders print from a different printer and that's why they have gotten those faster than my mobile order. She then proceeds to tell me how they recommend that individuals come inside to order and order when they get to the drive thru instead of the mobile order. She does offer to refund me since I had already paid but I honestly just wanted my drink. I didn't think it was that big of a deal. She at one point also offered for me to come back later to get the drink? Which does not make any sense at all...Anyway, she refunded me via the app (my method of payment) and I leave. I get to my car to leave and a barista comes out with my drink. At this point it was roughly 8:50am (28 minutes after my mobile order was submitted). The barista gave me my drink even though he was aware of my refund since the drink was already made which was nice of him.
I was trying to be as nice and calm as possible as I understand what it's like to be working in customer service at peak times but ultimately I thought the whole situation was stupid. The whole point of the mobile app is to cut back on wait times and convenience for the customer. Why have this method if it is going to make the whole ordering & pickup experience longer?
I will not be ordering from this particular Starbucks anymore (in person or...
Read moreThis store CONSISTENTLY makes drinks incorrectly and then in turn get upset when you ask them to fix the issue. At first I thought, maybe it’s because it’s right off the highway and they cannot hear you. I quickly realized that even with going inside to order my drink, they will change it up in order to potentially save them money. Example… you can order a Venti drink and I can almost guarantee you it will not be completely filled up. If you request that it is, they will just add ice and not provide you with what you paid for.
The lines ARE LONG! YOU WILL WAIT! They are too busy hating their job to execute timely and efficiently. Literally everyone has a mean face and looks like they would rather paint a room with a qtip.
The staff are rude, and openly discriminate if your look doesn’t match the class of people they are used to seeing. Accountability doesn’t exist here. After my third terrible encounter with this store, I opted to just not even get Starbucks since it’s the only store in my route. It’s literally...
Read moreI have gone to this Starbucks MULTIPLE times on my way to work because it is the most convenient location for me to stop by. 90% of the time, my order is wrong. and the one time I actually talked to the store about my drink instead of customer support the store manager was so rude that I contacted her district manger to complain about her because that experience was so awful. The problem is not that they won't remake my drink, because they always offer that. The problem is that when I'm on my way to work and I stop through the drive through for my Starbucks fix, they make my drink WRONG the first time no matter how specific I am about my drink and by the time I get to work and try my drink, it's too late for me to go back and it's more trouble than it's worth. If you're looking for a Starbucks, there are 3 other ones in the same area that don't always mess up and have rude management. Do not go to this location....
