First off, when we entered, the staff all said hi and greeted us kindly. The vibe is chill and the music was 80's and we loved it. Our waitress was the sweetest and told us what she recommended. We got the chicken fingers, chili, patty melt, and a burger. The fingers are homemade and are battered in beer sauce. They were delicious, but were a bit greasy. Our human fingers were covered in oil from the chicken fingers 😆 Okay. In my opinion this chili is some of the best I have had. So delicious! No beans, just like I like it. It came with cheese and onions on the side. I could have eaten two bowls. Rich flavorful meat with just the right spice! Don't miss out on this amazing chili cooked to perfection! The patty melt and hamburger were nicely presented and cooked well but again, just too greasy and over salted. The fries were frozen, not house-made but they tasted pretty good. We would have opted to try the onion rings but they are $3 extra and are also frozen so we passed. We went during happy hour and got we'll drinks for $5. Looks like the happy hour is a good deal and a great spot for relaxing and enjoying. Overall the staff is 5 stars, cleanliness and vibe is 5 stars, and the food was a 4 because it wasn't stellar, just okay, in our opinion. Maybe we need to go back and try something different. Not opposed to it since we felt like regulars there ❤️ even though it was our...
Read moreGreat food with great service. The biscuits and sausage gravy was really good, a lot of sausage. The grilled cheese with tomato soup was also good. The Reuben sandwich was stacked high and delicious. The coleslaw and french fries were also very good. Especially delicious were the barbecued fried pork belly bites. Lynn was very attentive to our needs and was very friendly. Another great visit! Lastly, I sure am glad they have Miller High Life.
This is a nice tavern, dedicated to the Minnesota Vikings! There is a bar with gaming, a game room with pinball, pool, darts, skeeball, and a golf game. Large indoor space with various seating options. Lots of TVs all over the place showing mostly sports. We ordered fish and chips and fish tacos, I guess because we like fish lol. Both dishes were very good, and served hot and fresh. The french fries were good and the coleslaw was obviously homemade and very delicious. I don't know what sauce that was on the fish tacos, but it was also good. The fried fish was pretty good, but a little bit greasy. Lynn was friendly and did a good job serving us. Personally, I was glad to see all three varieties of Miller beer available, Miller Lite, Miller High Life and MGD; all available on the happy hour menu. Prices were reasonable. The bathrooms were clean. Overall, we had...

We had a football game to watch but didn't want to get stuck on The Strip. Started doing a little research for local sports bars. There are a ton out there, but we were looking for something very specific -- good food, preferably not busy, and a good pour. We chose the Sahara location as there was a Yelp deal AND Groupon cash back offer!
Place was dead, as it should probably be a couple days after Christmas. Huge space, lots of seating, TVs, and a game room. We had the staff practically to ourselves -- excellent bartender for drinks and speedy server for food. Did I mention for the first hour we were there was happy hour? Half off well drinks and select appetizers. We went for the cauliflower buffalo bites. Never have I ever had such a spot-on veggie version of buffalo wings (bites), down to the texture! So impressive in fact I decided to give the jambalaya a try. No complaints here!
After 4+ hours (football is loooooong!) we were predictably and sufficiently brimming with "holiday cheer". Big plans for the evening devolved into sleep, but it was a solid sleep with a full belly thanks to the...
