New York Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I've been coming here for years for the Chicken Parmesan Dinner for takeout. It is definitely New York vibe here. I remember the older lady always sitting by the door who you knew was family. I know things change after Covid and prices of food have went up and restaurants are feeling the sting as we do as customers.

When I ordered online I noticed it didn't include the Salad anymore. It used to come with a Small Salad and I would get Thousand Island dressing for it. Okay , I can live with that , but it was nice to have a little salad with dinner. I got home and pulled out the Garlic Bread and it was one little slice. It used to come with a small loaf of Garlic Bread about 8 inches long with top and bottom bread. This time I got one piece about a 4 inch bottom piece. Wow for all this pasta , chicken , and sauce , just one little piece.

Now the Chicken Parmesan. Like I said , I've been coming here for years and it's decent , not fantastic , but I eat half and eat the other half the next day. So it's a good bit of both chicken and pasta. The pasta this time tasted funny , like dirty water pasta or something. I've never had a bad one at this place , but this time it wasn't good. I was so hungry from work that I still ate half like usual and had to make some of my own garlic bread to go with it and for the next day. I order a pizza for pickup upon arriving I asked a gentleman that was at the counter if my order was ready and gave him my name he ignored me. I then asked another young male walking by he gave me my pizza however he was only a cook so could not ring me up. I said to him can you ring me up as the other man ignored me he responded he could not as he wasn’t a cashier only a cook. The man that ignored me I found out his name was Henry he told me he ignored me because I was on my phone he said “get off your phone if you want help, we are busy and have other people in front of you if you want help get off your phone” may I mind you I was not talking on my phone while speaking to him. I had to wait about 5 minutes till the sweet lady by the name of Roseanne was able to help ring me up. She was on the phone at the time and kindly asked me to wait a moment so she could finish up with the customer on the phone so she could help me. She was also the person that took my order and was patient. I did let Henry know I would be leaving a review he laughed and said he didn’t care. I was sure to leave a tip for Roseanne and asked if she would get it or he would get any parts in it she assured me he wouldn’t. She also let me know there has been a lot of complaints about the worker and how he has been treating customers. Pizza was ok I would give it a 6.5/10 the customer service from Henry was so negative I will not be returning. I only gave 2 stars as Roseanne...

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I’ve been coming here for years and every time they treat me like a nuisance but I don’t take it personal I’m only there for the food. Finally after about a year I ordered again yesterday. Ordered online. Even added special notes letting them know how I wanted the chicken fingers and wings etc. I’m always very respectful so I even put please and thank you before and after every special note. Just to double make sure the food would be make correctly since I was ordering online( I refuse to go inside anymore because of how horrible they treat me) and wanted to avoid confusion if any possible. Receive my food. Made completely wrong and missing items and to make things worse all my special notes and requests were even on the stapled receipt that was on my bag. It’s almost like they purposely made it wrong and didn’t add any of the sauce that should of been on the side and made everything PLAIN! I already know how rude you all are but to be treated this way on a online order is pretty foul. 65$ order and completely ruined for my sons birthday. You are a horrible establishment and I will always remind everyone I know to not support you guys. I’m not mad. I’m just disgusted at this point and I wish you the best.
