China Mama Express — Restaurant in Spring Valley

My son loved China Mama when it was on Jones and Spring Mt. I stopped by here the other day while my car was being worked on. It was around lunch time and I asked if they had a lunch special and they said no , but online it shows a Mama Special Lunch Box. So , I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken which came with White Rice and I got a Soda. It came to $18.87. It took maybe 15 minutes and I ate about half of it there and took the rest home.

The chicken was nothing special more like a lesser Panda version. I was a little disappointed. It did have Pineapple Chunks in it as well as pieces of Bell Peppers. I usually get the General Tso's at other Asian restaurants and not all of them put in the Pineapple Chunks. I wanted my son to try it since he liked it so much at the old location , but they were going out to eat that night and the next day he went to work and never ate the leftovers.

I personally wouldn't come back here. I've had much better food for the price at other Asian restaurants. Also the guy at the register was wearing a mask which is fine if you are still afraid of Covid or whatever , but I could barely understand him when I asked him a question and made my order. The dining area is small , but clean. It's just too bad the food was almost like frozen...

Initially, I would like to express gratitude to CHINA MAMA IN LAS VEGAS for their exceptional hospitality and the immense enjoyment we derived from their delectable cuisine. We consumed our meal at an accelerated pace, thereby neglecting to capture photographs. I highly recommend that HIGH DESERT FOODIES extend their support by liking them on social media. On a scale of one to ten, their Chinese cuisine merits a rating of twelve. I extend sincere appreciation for the black pepper chicken, which was truly amazing. The sesame chicken was delicious, the dumplings were exceptional, and the house chow mein served as the crowning glory, effectively binding the entire meal together. The staff exhibited remarkable friendliness and efficiency, providing service that was impressively swift. Within five minutes of placing our order, our freshly prepared meals were served. 1st time here! Wow!!! What a fantastic and delicious dinner! This location is super Easy to find, they have great signage, and plenty of parking! I asked the counter clerk for recommendations and she pointed out their most popular items and gave me a variety of choices! She was so kind and patient. They are so fast and my “made to order” food was in front of me in record time. I ordered veggie spring rolls ~ they were fresh, hot, crispy, and full of fresh vegggies! Sauce is fantastic too!! For my entree, I ordered the Crispy Beef, and seriously, this beef is one of the best that I’ve ever eaten! Generous pieces of tender beef, that are perfectly crispy and in a tangy and not overly sweet sauce. I loved every bite!!! A generous portion of steamed rice came with the Crispy Beef and it was moist and well cooked. This location is incredibly clean and the bathroom was immaculate too!
