Nice neighborhood park for dogs, walking, tennis, basketball, picnic, playground, and relaxing. This park is safe as far as I can tell. I see the same people every day walking their dogs and letting them play. I also enjoy evening walks there. There is a nice path and a nice playground. They are doing some minor renovations. There are restrooms. Not many homeless people camping out except on occasion, here and there and well hidden from the street. They have a few BBQ grills and picnic tables. Just enough for the neighborhood people. Not enough to throw a carnival. I am grateful for all of it because I love to watch families, animals and children come together for fun and peace!! Everything..the tennis courts to the basketball hoops are in great condition!! Especially the playground!

My family and I love this park. It's quaint and pretty quiet. There is a large field and play parks for my big guy and my little one, and two tennis courts for me. The only thing I don't care for is people not leashing their dogs. The tiny dogs are the worst! If my kids are playing in the field those little dogs always run up and try to nip at my 1 year old. It's not the park that's the problem it's the dog owner. Next time I'll bring my large Belgian Malinois and let her lose to see what happens when a tiny dog tries to nip my baby girl.

Laurelwood has two courts that are second to no other courts in the whole city of vegas including henderson . After 40+ years of wear and tear they were demolitioned with two feet of fresh concrete inter woven with state of the art polymers inbedded to prevent future cracks and just recently new wind barriors and new nets after only three years of wear the city of las vegas parks and recreation can feel very proud. I been playing since i was twelve off and on grew up and learned on these very courts. So i couldnt be happier now back living in spring valley watched every day while being built talked to the man laying down two layers of hard tru that makes them medium speed perfect for every level of players, i couldnt be happier., that is why i have so much to say about laurelwood park est. 1974 one luv for the game!!! Ty again City of Las Vegas Parks and...

This is a decent small park to take younger kids to. My 1 and 3yr old kids had a great time on the playground equipment and then walking around the field collecting pinecones. We also ran through the grassy field before a few people showed up to play with their dogs. There is a basketball court that often has casual games going on. The picnic tables are usually clean and conveniently placed to have a quick meal when the weather is nice out! I like that it is tucked kind of in a neighborhood so the one side that is open to the street isn't too busy with cars...
