EDIT SINCE IT WAS REPLIED TO: No gary you won't call the cops since you only rent from that location where there's other businesses i visit , when i bucked at you joking for being so dang rude about the sleeves which was the 4th time during my visit that i thought to myself like jeez these guys are robots or rude idk what did I do to them I thought to myself, 5 mins to being there you joined our conversation so you must of missed the earlier parts. Which I was never upset at all, super friendly my whole visit up until the time I decided to leave, so I don't know what your saying I was upset about the Final fantasy product being out which seems to be a hot item I was less than upset and was just kinda confused . Before i bucked at you or the sleeves conversation.I had asked your employee for the FF cards at your employees short answer saying "singles" very rudely, i asked single decks cards or packs?As i asked he cut me off and he rudely said cards, I said "packs? like blind packs me and my wife can open" and he said "cards", I said oh, he walked away directly after that to the other side of the store which I followed and asked about how to build a deck for my wife one with 20 lifes (standard style). HE then handed me a box which was overpriced (checked pricing after this encounter) and that box was made for Commander games a whole different harder style of play I don't know how to teach her on my own. I learned at the other store i visited later it was the wrong item and uses a whole different set up then I was asking you guys about. So in response to you saying I'm lying: I believe you ARE THE LIER SIR (I seriously have no reason to lie about my visit to this location). I even looked at both of you joking with the bucking like "oh you don't have the sleeves, HAHA?' (when people are joking they smile and laugh, which was doing which was met with blank stares and the 6th or 7th time i was feeling very uncomfortable or talked to rudely i was trying to break the ice) when you clearly did have those card sleeves right in front of my face and I had already asked if there was a hurry or a problem and you both looked at me blankly and the guy said "can i help you with anything else" as to push me along the way, i haven't played magic in over 10 years and never played it like a competitive sport so being i don't know much about the game your employee kale was completely rude when i asked for help all i got was "anything else sir" so after you guys gave me blank stares, explained just about nothing of what you were selling as i learned from the other shop i needed a standard deck for my wife, I left and was very vocal but calling you goofy goofballs and weirdo goombas is far from cursing or verbal abuse, i went to another card shop and they were very helpful i highly recommend MANATAP which is not to far from these guys and doesn't smell bad, clean smells good and well lit (commander games was a mess of junk food wrappers on the floor and dinge type smelly), also they are not rude and the people looking for help actually help people with no knowledge of the game instead of pushing you along, i also found the prices to be cheaper, more selection ,more help, actually friendly and not pushy at all they had video games there which is a plus! Mana did not have the sleeves but they were kind enough to let me know they are available at walmart and target in the hobby isle. Instead of just treating me like some less then customer, I was ready to drop a few hundred dollars, I am talking this up with hasbro and wizards and seeing what I can do about the large amount of complaints and licenses you obviously don't have to play wizard of the coast games since you did not have the free starter decks that wizard gives to shops to give to newbies like my wife, threatening cops on potential customers is probably mear lowest thing I can think of as a owner of a business, I'm not ashamed of what I am saying and my experiences at your business & I have no problem meeting you outside of the engagement of business if your feeling...
Read moreThe amount of miscommunication and lack there of, is amazing with the store. They advertise that they buy sell and trade all trading card games, but there’s only one person that can do it? Why would they tell you to come in the early afternoon when they (the owner) are not gonna be here? Having staff that mindlessly plays cashier is insane when running a trading card store, because you need to be multifaceted when running this type of business and not just “schedule an appointment” you need to be ready at all times to actually be a business, and not when it’s convenient. We drove about 35 minutes out here based on recommendations from locals, and now we never will be back and advise everyone to not waste your time or energy. Dont come here, go anywhere else.
EDIT: Awwww shucks, kinda wild we were banned 6 months later AFTER several other one star reviews were left by other guests that had the same exact issues. And as for the employee thing, you do know that only one person from our group talked to your employee right? And the whole time he was polite, a little annoyed that the owner didn’t bother to show up after he scheduled an appointment (which is the dumbest thing ever 🤣) or teach any other employee to buy, but hey, that just reflects the poor leadership this store has!
