Came here for a dinner reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday and had an absolute blast! Really nice place off the strip with comfortable seating on the inside and quite a nice outdoor area as well. It was really cold out so we had to sit indoors but definitely a nice place to be in the summer!
All the food was exceptional but I would say the service was a little bit of a 4/5. They never really checked up on us when it came to the bread part and took a really long time to get it out. When we asked for bread they only bought the garlic bread and did not ask for our preference. Garlic bread was really nice though and we asked for more but it never came. We asked for some of the plain bread and that came along with the actual food so that was a little bit sad.
Shrimp Pizza - This was my first time trying a shrimp pizza and wow I was not expecting it to be this nice. Added some chili flakes and it was the perfect level of spicy and creamy. I like how they did not use white sauce on the bottom and it was just the cheese. Although they did seem to be a decent amount of oil on top which I wiped out with my napkin.
Chicken Marsala (with Nora's Salad instead of spaghetti) - This chicken was really delicious! Chicken was perfectly cooked and that sauce was spectacular! Honestly, the sauce was so good, we even had it with some of the bread they served. Yum!
Nora's Salad - This was also really delicious. I really love the chickpeas and the peppers combination going there. We asked for dressing on the side and only needed to add a little bit. Lovely nutritious salad. Really like how they did not charges extra for switching out the noodles from the chicken dish with the salad.
House Salad with Shrimp - Friend got this and it was a really really massive portion! She ordered the large so I guess that was why but even otherwise this was a salad big enough for two people! Quite a good amount of veggies in there as well which is nice. She really was a fan of the shrimp too!
Citrus Chicken Thigh - Really creative menu item here and the portion size of this was also massive! Another dish that a friend got and he clearly loved it because he finished the entire thing himself.
Warm chocolate cake (with vanilla syrup + pistachio) - I had pre-ordered this since we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Did not actually call to put in the order or anything. I just mentioned it in the reservation notes on OpenTable. I was glad they actually read that and brought it out 😀. Overall this cake was delicious! The outside was slightly crispy, probably from the powdered sugar that's solidified on there.. and the inside was soft and gooey and actually warm! The combination with the vanilla syrup and pistachios was also spectacular.
Tiramisu - The restaurant served this with a little camel as surprise for my husband for his birthday. Tiramisu was a very big hit! I've tasted some in other restaurants where it was a bit too strong on the coffee flavor but this one was perfect. Smooth and creamy and not too sweet or too strong in the coffee flavor. Just right.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place but but would just like the bread service to have been a little better, especially since we were...
Read moreUpdate: Returned to Nora's after having a negative experience on our first visit. We tried different dishes and WOW, we were blown away. Service was ok, our first server we had was more personable. This server checked on us and was great but not like the first guy. The first server was more cheerful.
Food: • $1.00 Each person Bottomless Bread • Antipasto -Great Palate Cleanser • Fried Calamari • Carbonara
The highlight on this visit was the fried calamari and Carbonara. The fried calamari is up there in Top 2 in Vegas. Every bite was delicious and seasoned well also it was not chewy at all. So tender and plentiful-large serving. The Carbonara was equally as delicious and is the BEST Carbonara in Vegas. I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants in the Valley and this dish is up there compared to other restaurants. My top 2 overall in my travels. We added peas to with the already delicious pasta. The saltiness from the ham balanced so well with the creamy spaghetti pasta. Really really good that I ate the whole plate with no left overs.
We sat on the patio and it was a perfect night. Definitely will return again.
---------Old Review---- I've been wanting to dine here for years and I finally gave them a try. It's hard to get reservations on a whim. I dine out every night and I usually don't plan where I'm going to eat until the day of. I was able to get reservations for 7:30 pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was definitely packed. Noise level wasn't too loud but they were busy.
Service was good. Jonathan was our server. Very nice and he checked up on us a few times.
Food: Glass of Cabernet Pork Milanese Antipasto Alla Nora
We ordered the Nora because it had Nora's name in it. Baked, Spaghetti, Egg Plant, Meat Sauce, Pesto Drizzle and Parmigiano Cheese. It was ok to me. I wouldn't order it again.
The Pork Milanese was also ok. I asked for balsamic because I needed to wake up the dish. It was bland. I've had really good Pork Milanese lately and Nora's did not compare. It lacked.
The highlight was the bread and Antipasto. It went so well together. Loved how the meat and cheese was wrapped together. The dressing was also a hit.
Lastly, I brought to the attention of our server about the $2 bread charge. I just asked about it. It was really good however, we did not order the bread. We thought it was complimentary. With that said, on the menu it shows $1 charge for each guest. Well that would have been fine if we ordered it. We told our server we enjoyed it so no problem we will pay for it but questioned if they just add it on there without it being ordered. So if you're not a bread person, make sure to tell the server if they deliver it to your table. It was the best bread we've had in a long time. Nice and HOT and Nicely toasted.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the...

As an aficionado of gastronomy, I have been fortunate enough to dine at some of the world's most esteemed establishments. Yet, none has entirely left an indelible mark on my palate and sensibilities like Nora. This Italian restaurant is unparalleled in its ability to transcend the ordinary, elevating the dining experience to an extraordinary crescendo of flavors and aesthetics. In this review, I shall endeavor to convey my profound admiration for Nora, offering you an insight into the remarkable gastronomic journey that awaits within.
I had the pleasure of savoring the creations of Nora through a takeout experience, as I did not have the opportunity to witness the resplendent interior of this esteemed establishment. However, let me assure you, the excellence that emanated from the to-go containers was a testament to the mastery that unfolds behind those restaurant doors.
To commence this gustatory odyssey, I savored two of the most exquisite appetizers I have ever encountered. The Garlic Bread, an unassuming yet marvelous creation, was a symphony of warm, crusty bread infused with the mellowness of roasted garlic and anointed with a whisper of olive oil. The flavors were profound and comforting, setting the stage for what would come.
The Arancini, on the other hand, was a revelation. These golden orbs of risotto, each lovingly enveloping a treasure trove of mozzarella and aromatic herbs, were exquisitely crispy on the outside and divinely creamy within. It was as if each bite unveiled a new dimension of flavor, taking me on an exhilarating journey of taste and texture.
The crescendo of my dining experience at Nora was undoubtedly the Crazy Alfredo Pasta. It was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The al dente fettuccine was flawlessly coated in a luxuriant Alfredo sauce, rich and velvety, rich and velvety, with a subtle hint of nutmeg that added a tantalizing depth. The crowning glory was the succulent, perfectly cooked shrimp, which imparted a sweet brininess that harmonized flawlessly with the sauce. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, a celebration of culinary prowess.
While I cannot personally attest to the interior of Nora, the gastronomic prowess that was evident in every morsel I sampled speaks volumes about the care and dedication that goes into each dish. The restaurant's reputation for excellence is well-deserved.
In conclusion, Nora is an establishment that beckons to the connoisseur in all of us. It is a place where the fusion of skill, passion, and quality ingredients results in an exceptional dining experience. Nora is the destination of choice if you are seeking an enchanting journey through Italian cuisine that will leave an indelible mark on your culinary memory. This is not merely dining; it is an art form that I...
