I placed a large order for catering delivery for 20 Doctors & Nurses as I'm a pharmacy rep VP. I placed the order 28 hours in advance and paid $400.00 for an 11:15am delivery, paid extra for delivery plus set up. I received a call the day of, at 10am telling me the order would be 15 minutes late. I said, 11:30? That should be alright. 11:45am I'm at the clinic, no food. I called panera and a young girl answered, was very rude and hung up on me. The manager called me back and apologized for the rude employee and said they're working on my order and should be delivered in 5 minutes....keep in mind, they're literally 1.5 miles down the road from this clinic...12:05pm, nobody, nothing. I drove to Panera myself and they were STILL working on my order! I said, "just give me what's ready, there are 20 doctors and nurses who sacrificed their lunch break to spend time with me thinking I was bringing them lunch". There were at least a dozen employees behind the counter. COMPLETELY unacceptable. I also requested extra tuna salad sandwhiches as the two main docs love tuna salad sandwhiches and asked for it...there were literally zero. I do this every day. I can assure you, my pharmacy will never spend another red penny using panera ever again. I called their corporate office and some non-english speaking person wouldn't help me at all. Absolutely...
Read moreI had a coupon, and without the coupon, the prices are horrible. Breakfast and lunch are well overpriced. I get better sandwiches from other good local places for half the price without using any coupons. The service is worse every year. I ordered ahead, and the app sent you a message indicating that the order was ready for pickup. When I arrived, they had not yet started working on my order, and this happens too often. If you are picking up on your way to work, this place is unreliable. It's a shame that Panera Bread's prices continue to rise, while the service quality continues to decline. Panera Bread used to be one of my favorite places to get a quick lunch, but now, with all the disgusting meals that I've received over the years, I'm going to scratch this place off my list. I contacted Corp to complain about the last salad I ordered because it appeared that the salad was leftover from other plates. I told the manager on duty, who looked at me with embarrassment, and she even agreed with me. The problem is that this continues to happen very frequently. Every time I order from Panera Bread, I have to inspect the meals because I've had a few incidents...
Read moreI ate here probably every other day during their fall menu, and since then i've always ordered a bowl of soup for my husband and a 'pick 2' meal for myself - one being soup. Not had gone dined here for a few weeks we decided to return, we ordered the usual a bowl of soup for him and a pick 2 meal for myself. Well my pick 2 meal consisted of a broth and half a sandwich. My husband received the bowl (cup size/green bowl) i had usually gotten with my 'pick 2' meal and i received the bowl (large bowl/ yellow bowl) he usually got soup in. Once this was brought to the managers attention (Last Name: Madrid) he insisted we were wrong. (Being that I worked customer service, I was frustrated.) He insisted and kept telling us what is right and what is wrong. I thought: I'm a customer, I don't care what is right and wrong - I am telling you what has been served to us. I understand, it's not his fault but thats not how customer service is dealt with. Its safe to say not everyone is meant for a customer service position. He should have just brought the kind of bowl of soup we expected in the first place and warned us about how it will be served next...
