Dad's Best Filipino Cuisine — Restaurant in Spring

Wow! What a great experience! I've been waiting what seems like forever to see when they are open. Right now it's just the weekends and when they announce on their Facebook page. I saw them by chance on this Thursday getting set up to open around 4:30. I ordered the chicken and the beef empanadas and the lumpia. It didn't take long to cook. They were super hot so I couldn't eat them right away. When I got down the road and finally tried them, I was surprised that the outer bread of the empanadas was sweat and nice texture which really complimented the savory filling. The lumpia was new to us but is very similar to a Chinese spring roll. They were so crispy and delicious! While waiting for our snack, the other food being prepared smelled amazing! Can't wait to come again and try...

I'm a long time supporter of this food truck all the way back when they were at the old location with the little truck. First Filipino food I found after moving from LA . Everything has always been good but I ordered the chicken and pork adobo which the meats were delicious but I did not get any adobo sauce to use on my rice.it was a tray full of oil and I was very disappointed. I think I just got a bad plate because I know this place make better food than this. I am going to give them another try and check...

The most AUTHENTIC, and BEST Filipino food in the area. Take it from a Filipina herself. Recently moving to Texas, I thought I would miss all of my childhood favorites. Then I discovered this amazing food truck area. They say Filipino hospitality is the best, and that also goes for here. There is a variety of board games, condiments to go with your food, and the overall atmosphere and comfortability of the outdoor seating is lovely. I recommend the Lechon Combo....
