Don Chicken — Restaurant in Spring

I can’t say enough good things about Don Chicken Pan de Oro. The food is incredible—seriously, everything I’ve tried has been full of flavor and made with so much care. But what really makes this place special is the owner. He’s one of the most genuine, hospitable people you’ll ever meet. You walk in and instantly feel like family.

If you go (and you should), do yourself a favor and try the tamales. They’re absolutely delicious—comforting, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love.

This place has delicious colombian pastries, bunuelos, pandebono, roscon with guava. The empanadas are both delicious. We prefer the beef over the chicken however; they're both good. The papas rellenas are delicious too. The grilled chicken is also delicious. The arepas, sweet plantains, tostones (green plantains), fried yuca, and papas saladas are yummy too. Someone brought empanadas to an office function from Don Chicken. They were delicious but the peruvian green sauce is what brought me in to the restaurant to try more. It is so addictive! On our visit, my husband and I shared rotisserie chicken, beans, rice, fried plantains, yucca. They all ranked right up there with the best I've ever had.
