Pho Vinh — Restaurant in Spring

Clean appearance. Went early before an appt so no customers there. Explicitly told Waiter to bring appetizer before meal. He brings both at the same time. Didn't bring water or utensils until he brought food. Remember there was no one in the restaurant. I reminded him that I requested the appetizer first and the meal afterwards. (he didn't have a clue of the real significance of listening nor inappropriateness of doing what he did). I didn't trust to send it back to correct their mistake. He stood behind the counter the entire time. Shaking beef was different from what I was used to but it tastes ok, and the meat was odd. Not sure what kind of meat they use. Egg rolls were very greasy (you could visibly see the grease). Anyway, my food got cold since I ate the appetizer first. The rice was definitely not fresh (probably day old). I didn't eat the rice, at half the other stuff. This was my first and probably last visit. There are too many similar restaurants that provide a better experience and the issues seem organic. I was disappointed since this was a convenient location. The kicker is that when I paid when ordering so I tipped $10 on a $28 bill. I always like to help out the waitstaff. Had I known the guy would 100% ignore me and my simple request, I would not have done so. I must say that I walked out...

From the sticky menus to the high pricing for mediocre food we will not be coming back.

When we walked in we were greeted with a server/cashier that couldn’t care less that we came in. We were given menus that were not clean since they were not only sticky, but they had sediment in them. Not a great start. Then when asked what we wanted my wife let the server know not to serve the garnishes with Jalapeños since she was allergic. He acknowledged this and came back a minute later with a garnish plate with Jalapeños in it. She couldn’t use any of the garnishes she usually loves because of this. The soy bean sprout were also old and brown in look. Their texture showed their age as well. I got a Beef Round and Brisket pho, but the meat was not fresh since it had a metallic sheen on every piece. This was the same for the chicken Pho my wife ordered. The broth lacked flavor and I found myself adding more sauces to flavor the pho up. Between the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of ingredients served, I will not be returning to...

It was our first time trying Vietnamese food. We have been wanting to try Pho so bad. It's no joke. 🤭 I labeled each photo with its name. Hopefully, that helps when ordering. It was me, hubby, and three kiddos. Anyways, the place is small but very comfy and clean. Quiet place, not too loud. Staff was great and on top of everything. Loved that! The food was delicious, super fresh, and hot just the way I like my food to be served. The broth was so good, the vermicelli noodles, and I added the jalapeños and bean sprouts. Love the different condiments on the table. My favorite, you have to add the chili sauce. 🤌 My kids loved the Pho, and even the one who is so picky. 😅 The grilled chicken egg rolls went so well with the Pho. It kept me so refreshed. The beef sandwich went so well with the Pho. Overall, the food was outstanding, and we can't wait to visit again and try other items...
