We love PZ and have eaten at/ supported PZ since the ole days over on Cypresswood and Kuykendahl. Best pizza around. Period. And super awesome people- all of them.
Today we ordered the Pizza of the Month- a Summer hummus pizza, plus pepperoni rolls and a large Greek salad. The salad was great- and huge- we had some fresh veggies at home that needed to be used this week, so we decided to add to it to make it last for an extra meal or two.
The Summer Hummus Pizza: One-note. I was so excited for the thin crust, hummus base and the fresh summer veg on top. We had squash, zucchini, mushrooms and cheese on the pie. I loved the crunch of the crust. I loved the hummus base- so different and paired well with the crust. But then- everything went one-note: zucchini, squash, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. The veggies tasted buried in cheese- So much cheese we had to pass on this pie. This is the first PZ pie Iāve ever ordered that wasnāt devoured in one sitting and didnāt make it to the fridge for later.
Just offering up a quick review on this one- it definitely wasnāt what we were expecting flavor wise. Missing from this pizza: Cherry tomatos, banana peppers, Kalamata olive halves, spinach, green pepper, feta- all of which were going through my mind. I think I was thinking hummus-sauced āGreek veggieā when I ordered and got surprised when the flavors didnāt smack me right in the tastebuds like they usually do.
My daughter said the pepperoni rolls were āAMAZINGā and she ate them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTheir wings are amazingly juicy. Pizza is always awesome. Service is great and prices are reasonable. Far better than dominoes, grimaldis pizza in the woodlands, little Ceasars, pizza Hut, and papa Johns. Their pick 6 option is great and their pizzas already selected is great. Pizza always has a nice topping to bread ratio. It's always hot. Out of the many times I have order from pizza zone, they only messed up once (they mixed an order up with the other families - my dad ordered it and because we had similar items, they just didn't have the wings we just ate what they ordered and they what we ordered). After the mess up they sent us in the mail a coupon for the same price meal we ordered and accepted it after the expiration date. We've received others such as 17$ coupons as well which covers a whole pizza depending on the size.
I forgot to add that usually it's my dad ordering for the family. Tends to be 2-3 pizzas and some wings, has always delivered in a timely manner. I don't know what the North of Spring Cypress dude was talking about because we live next door to klein collins, which is north of spring cypress. He's ordered a few times for his clients for his business and they said they've loved it. I hadn't been in person to the old location but I've been to the new one and it's not a little hole in the wall no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAh, Pizza Zone ā the undisputed champion of cheese pulls and crust dreams. This isn't just an Italian restaurant; itās a culinary power-up zone, the kind of place Mario would stop at between saving kingdoms.
The menu? Fuhgeddaboudit. Itās like they stole Nonnaās secret recipes and added just the right amount of madness. Pizza? Glorious. Wings? Drenched in flavor and respect. Dessert? Sweet enough to make you question every life decision that didnāt involve ending the day here.
The atmosphere is like if your cool uncle opened a pizzeria and decided to decorate it with 90% chaos and 10% nostalgia. Thereās wacky stuff on the walls thatāll have you yelling āShenanigans!ā like youāre in a buddy cop movie. It's the kind of place where you laugh, eat, and forget that adulthood exists.
Perfect for families, date nights, solo cheese therapy, or bribing your kids into behaving for five minutes. Whether you're in it for the pepperoni perfection, the saucy wings, or just a good time in Spring, Pizza Zone is your pie-slinging safe space.
In short: come for the food, stay for the vibe, leave in a carb-induced state of bliss. Springsā favorite pizza? Yeah, for...
