La Casita — Restaurant in Spring

It's a very basic and overpriced tex mex kitchen inside a gasoline station at a busy intersection, nothing less, nothing more. It's not some kind of underrated hidden gem. Food was what you'd expect from a convenience store, same was true for the service. It was too warm inside the store, so I actually went back to the car to wait for my order where I had a functional a/c. As far as prices... Let's just say that I honestly wish I'd drove a couple of extra miles and just went to a regular diner...

OMG, AUTENTICO ! ! ! Was craving Mexican food for breakfast. Read the google reviews. Saw the awesome food pictures for La Casita. Decided to try it. Located inside the gas station. Store, restrooms and sitting areas are clean. Menu has a variety. Ordered #3, tostadas rancheras with chorizo. Service is prompt. Sat and dined. Tostadas were amzing. Everything is fresh. I ordered today 4 flour tortilla tacos 2 bacon 1 chorizo and 1 barbacoa. Bacon egg was really good, the chorizo and egg had lots of chorizo and gave me indigestion and the “barbacoa” it wasn’t barbacoa for me that I’m Regio and they cooked with chipotle I guess but that’s not barbacoa. The service was really good and that place was busy, price is good too, those salsas are good and the cook guy is fast they deserve...
