We visited for dinner and were very disappointed. Upon arriving and being seated (in a virtually empty restaurant) we placed our order and sat at the Hibachi grill for an hour until the chef came to prepare our food. The orders were all messed up and my order wasn't put in at all. I kept waiting for the chef to serve my food thinking I was next, but after everyone was served the chef realized that he was never given my order. Upon bringing this to my waiter's attention, he said that he could make my food in the back kitchen. Well, I was going to pay $15 to eat with my family at the Hibachi grill, I was not about to pay to get my food put in a box, take it home with me, and eat it cold. After the waiter said he could not comp my meal, I said I didn't want them to make anything for me. I also wanted to speak with the manager about my concerns so that it could benefit his restaurant in the future. The manager brushed me off/waving from across the room. Eventually he reluctantly came to our table. The manager informed me that I had nothing to worry about because they were making my food in the back. No apology for the poor service and no consideration that I had just missed eating dinner with my family on Easter.
I'm generally flexible and easy to please. I also rarely take the time to write reviews. This is however the second time I've come to this restaurant, at this location, and received very poor service. (The last time we visited I had hot soup dropped in my lap with no more than a sorry.) My family will no longer be dining at...
Read moreToday, I ventured to this supposedly romantic restaurant for a Valentine's Day dinner, only to be greeted with an immediate letdown. Upon arrival, the server lazily instructed us to just find any vacant table, as if we were an afterthought in their bustling establishment. The lack of proper seating arrangements was the first warning sign of what was to come.
Once we managed to seat ourselves, we were graced with the presence of our server who sluggishly took our drink orders. While the drinks themselves were passable, the same couldn't be said for the agonizingly slow pace of the food service. Despite placing our orders promptly, it felt like an eternity before anything arrived at our table.
To add insult to injury, my companion received their sushi order while I sat there twiddling my thumbs for a good 40 to 50 minutes. The server, oblivious to the ordeal, even had the audacity to inquire if we wanted the salad and soup that supposedly came with our meal – a meal that had yet to grace our table.
Needless to say, my anticipation for a delightful culinary experience was swiftly replaced with bitter disappointment. The utter lack of attentiveness and care from the staff ensured that any enjoyment was off the menu. It's safe to say that I won't be subjecting myself to such neglectful...
Read moreThis was my first time having hibachi and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I watched Hibachi videos all day on tiktok and thought this would be the experience I was getting or something similar and it wasn’t. Given, I did read reviews ahead of time but still went against my better judgement and decided to give them a chance. When we walked through the door the hostess was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She stared into space until I spoke and my boyfriend asked her for a hibachi table for two. She sits us, and then the waiter comes over shortly after. We’ve never tried Sake so I expressed this to the waiter. He told us “hot sake” and walked away to get it. Once he brought it back, he took our order and we never saw him again until he brought the check. 30 minutes later, we finally got a hibachi chef, he comes over, confirms our order and says nothing else, proceeds to cook in front of us and that was it. There was no special tricks, interesting conversation or fun. He just cooked, sat the food in front of us and walked away. It wasn’t a good feeling or experience especially looking at the only other table across the room having the time of their life. Obviously, we won’t be back but I hope this establishment treats people a little better...
