Service was horrible unless you're a young guy walking in. My husband & I stood at the counter waiting to order was passed by 4x by the 3 young gals working (not even a hi be right with you....nothing). Two young guys walk in & the gal couldn't get to them fast enough. We were about to walk out when one said have you been waited on (duh...why would we be standing there). You have to ask for napkins. They don't have a bathroom. Indoor seating is limited. Don't order the shrimp boat or mushrooms; you'll get more breading than anything. Parking is a challenge. The K is a Springboro staple which is why we will continue to go and support. Can’t beat the hometown atmosphere. Sad to see they closed off the inside, because ice cream is good on rainy days too. Since it has changed ownership I would say the ice cream has remained great, but the food lacks any effort for the cost. Since it has changed ownership, you can definitely tell it is viewed more as an investment, rather than a part of the community. When standing in line be ready because after the person in front of you orders that sliding glass window will slam in your face real quick. I had the Lemon Dole Whip for the first time a few days ago. I have always missed it in the past. Now I am a total lemon head, I love sour anything! And I don't want to be dramatic but I swear it was life changing! It made my whole day.
