Wanting something different yet not wanting to drive too far, I googled "food near me". This place caught my eye. I feel like we'd seen it before while driving but had forgotten about it. If I can be a bit dramatic, this discovery felt like a divine intervention! All was very good; the service, the tropical setting, live music on certain nights, the cocktails prepared with fresh ingredients, no mixes! Now as far as the food? Absolutely delicious with authentic Caribbean flavor. We especially enjoyed the newly created dish. It was tostones loaded up with black beans, queso blanco, cilantro and more! Incredible taste but you have to ask for it as it isn't "official" just yet. My husband has Puerto Rican roots and was definitely made to feel at home by one of the owners, Abraham. I believe the other owner is his wife who is the main cook. The cashier, Carly was also quite friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning with friends and family. If there was any bit of constructive feedback to give, it would just be to rearrange the front area to avoid people crowding the order area. Seems like the long booth and soda cooler could be moved down and owner might put a roped line up (queue). There is a waiting area outside but no one took a hint. We give this locally owned establishment 5 stars and 2 thumbs up 👍 👍

First time coming here and originally from South Florida and I gotta say the South Florida vibes are on point!! Just like being back home! We arrived around 5pm and there was plenty of parking and places to sit. At first I was confused because you order your food at the counter and then grab a seat, after doing so I really like this set up. Makes everything much easier really. After grabbing our seat we just absorbed everything about the place. The atmosphere here gets 10 stars!! Its comfortable but lively all in the same, just like a few places on the beach back in South Florida or even in the Caribbean. Really awesome vibes! The service, staff and owner are all amazing and extremely welcoming. I can see this as a great place to hang out at, have a few drinks and digest some live music. Now for the food, every bit of authenticity in Latin food! We plan to go back and try more of the menu but everything was absolutely delicious. From the presentation to the taste, everything was completely spot on. Make sure you try a margarita or mojito when you go!

I love the tropical theme and was drawn in by the palm trees. Unfortunately the decor was the best part. The place was empty. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for food but decided to try it anyway. We ordered chips and salsa for the wait but had to wait for that too. It appeared the woman at the front desk was also the server. When it arrived it was in a small basket and the salsa in a shallow saucer. I asked for more but was told that was the last of it. They were out. And I had to practically beg for ice in my drink. She said they were almost out and saving for mixed drinks instead. When my food finally arrived, the chicken was dry and tasted charred. Not that there was much of it. All 3 could fit in one hand. Luckily another employee stopped by to ask how things were and brought me a sauce to help wet it. My husband wanted to order from the bar but couldn't talk with the bartender as the woman at the front was taking those orders too. So he just had water. I am guessing from other reviews that this isn't the normal. Just our bad luck.
