Crispy Donut — Restaurant in Springdale

Absolutely some of the worst doughnuts I've ever had. Pure grease balls basically. Tried to take a second to figure out what I wanted. Lady kept getting aggressive towards me and askimg me what I wanted. I was just tryin to pick up a dozen for my family. Told her just a dozen mixed. I picked out my mixed. She kept "suggesting" in a rather demanding voice that I get other stuff. Kept tellin her no. After the 3rd time she finally rang me up. Menu price for mixed doughnuts was $13. After handing her my card. She changed the price to $14.50 then charged my card. Then handed me the machine and the end total was $15.25 and she kept pointing out the tip option and was heavily leaning over me as I was trying to figure out how it went up to $15.25 and she was rushing me with that and telling me to tip. Which I did. Then to top it off. The doughnut were pure freakin grease. My stomach has been horribly upset & I keep hacking up grease. Definitely would not recommend. The donuts are amazing. I’ve been a loyal customer since we moved here November of 2021. The kolaches are pretty good too. The apple fritters are kind of dry. I have not tried much except those two. The donut icing is perfect. Not too sweet and not too plain. This is a business run by actual human beings. They have good days and they have bad days. I don’t expect perfection 24/7. People complaining about unfriendly staff obviously don’t see them as people. I treat the people who work here like friends and they return the same attitude. Sometimes the wait in drive thru can be a bit lengthy, but once again sometimes there’s only one person running the counter and the drive thru. Give them time to get to you. Hands Down the Best Donuts & Kolaches in NWA. Their prices seem to be equal to most places, but their overall quality and flavor are far superior to the competition. Locally Family owned and ran establishment. Anytime you visit you’re bound to see multiple generations of their family working or hanging around. They do sometimes sell out of their best donuts, but come early an it’s not an issue. Their Kolache dough is definitely homemade and full of flavor.
