Excellent, fresh, delicious food!

TL:DR This carniceria has a limited menu, but every item is worth it! Get the chicharon tacos (or any tacos) you will not regret it!

Details: Came in on a Saturday afternoon to be greeted by the owner and some of his family. Exceptionally friendly, and patient as we figured out what to try!

The fresh meat sits in a case, waiting for him to cut it up for your tacos! He let us sample a bit, and we ended up trying three types of tacos. Each was more delicious than the last... every bite full of flavor!

Oh, and the tortillas themselves were just a bit better than I've had before too - your normal corn tortilla for a taco, but maybe a bit richer in flavor? It was terrific.

No downside to visiting this family establishment and getting some...

The carnitas were terrible. It was not marinated pork and there was 7 or 8bits of cartiledge and hard pork that i removed from my mouth after taking a bite... but everything else? It is hands down top notch. Me and the buds from work went to the 12ish taco places in town in some online taco madness thing. At each place i tried asada pollo, pork and chorizo. This place is my top pick of all the places in the area. I even came back and tried beef tounge and other odd things because everything is so damn good i minus well try something crazy for the first time here. Everything has been great except the carnitas which is just fried pork and had hard bits in it. Put the phone down. Stop wondering if you should try this place. Put the keys in the car and go...

Hands down my FAVORITE place for tacos. I would dare to say, even across all the places I’ve tried in Mexico. The meat is perfect - juicy and tender, and they have all sorts of fun options like buche, brain, heart etc! Of course, if that’s not your taste, they have the usual favorites like carnitas as well. From memory they have a few options on the menu including vegetarian options, burritos and pupusas.

What makes this place even better is the fun, no frill vibes and the best service. The folks who own this place are super friendly and welcoming.
