After a bike ride, we decided to stop by Bauhaus for dinner, and it did not disappoint. The staff and chef were fantastic—attentive and friendly. Drinks arrived promptly, and the food followed quickly. We ordered the Knackwurst, Currywurst, and Bavarian pretzel bites. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious. The pretzel was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and absolutely easy to devour. The Knackwurst, served with sauerkraut and deli mustard, was a standout dish. The Currywurst, while not my personal favorite, still had a unique and enjoyable flavor. We paired our meal with a favorite beer, making for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend trying this cozy little German restaurant in downtown Springdale. We’ll definitely be back!

Fun place, although I suspect it will be much better when the weather warms up. Three of us shared the sausage sampler (3 delicious sausages with a dollop of pepper jelly on the side, plus some wonderful pickled veggies on the other side), a giant soft pretzel with beer cheese (large, but nothing unusual here, and not really enough cheese), and a side of German potato salad (excellent!). The mustard on the table was great on the pretzel and sausages. Three beers (very good) and 2 palatable glasses of Cabernet brought our total to $120. A little pricey for the amount of food, but we'll still be back when the weather warms up to try the sauerkraut and other beers. If you're looking for an authentic German experience, I think this is it!

Want this place to succeed so badly. NWA desperately needs a biergarten! Ambiance and service was good. Tables outside and Uno (chess board maybe?) hit the spot. My younger son loved the blankets. Hofbrau Hefeweizen on tap was great, Franiskaner would be better, likely more expensive. Could use a better bottle selection. One out of four Pretzels ordered were undercooked. Charcuterie board was short on wurst, and cubed chedder/swiss was weak with so many good cheese options available. Cheese sauce wasn't great either; a small step up from movie nacho cheese. Pickled vegetables were a hard pass with no crunch odd flavor.

Very disappointed not going back. A pretzel is $14 there isn't a single item less that than $10 so I know for a fact all the previous reviews are fake. I was really excited about this because my girlfriend remembered it as being good. We're big foodies. The quality of food doesn't even match up to the Sam's club Cafe and charges at Logan's steakhouse prices. If I'm gonna spend $70 on 2 broughts a pretzel, a side and 3 beers I expect to be full and doing a happy dance they didn't even give you fries or anything like that. The only reason I got full was the beer and the pretzel. Quite literally had Mediterranean food with 2 entries 4 drinks, a hookah and 2 desserts for less than this place. The broughts were basically just Walmart quality (not Sam's) and nothing authentic except maybe the beer. The beer list was very limited and way over priced. I'd rather go to a bar where the prices are better and there's more selection. The only atmosphere is what you bring to the table. We wanted to eat there before it gets closed down like so many other great restaurants. Now having eaten there I kinda regret it and feel like it can go and the town wouldn't...

Upon arriving we had a wonderful interaction with the gentleman behind the bar, he was very helpful and answered questions about their beer offered, we sat outside and reviewed their food menu. It was clear that prices were pretty steep but for authentic German cuisine it was understandable, there is also coupons online available which significantly decreased the price of the experience. The server (gentleman behind the bar) was wonderful and attentive, however, when we did receive the food it was SIGNIFICANTLY underwhelming, the sausage was hard as well as the pretzel, and the poutine was nearly tasteless, for the steep prices I expected a flavor filled German experience and unfortunately the bar fell short of that. The outside of this location is fitted with a beautiful mural but the inside is equivalent to any run of the mill dive bar. Overall, the drinks were expensive (as expected for German imported beers, however, they were out of several) the food was disappointing. I absolutely love supporting local small business and it pains me to say anything negative at all but there are significant spaces for improvement at...

We enjoyed our meal at Bauhaus Biergarten. The two young folks serving customers couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, and came around multiple times to ask us if we needed anything.

We liked the laid-back atmosphere of both the outside beer garden and the inside tables, which we chose because the evening was hot. One of us had Wiener schnitzel, the other a bratwurst, and both were good, though the schnitzel's breading included some kind of seasoning salt with tastes we've never encountered in Wiener schnitzels in Austria, Germany, or the Czech Republic -- perhaps even garlic salt.

There were interesting thinly sliced fried potatoes with the schnitzel, which were flavored with dill. They may have been a potato salad, though there wasn't any dressing we could taste with the potatoes. In any case, the dill seasoning was very nice.

We had a Pilsner and a dunkel beer, both very good. All in all, an enjoyable meal and a place I'm happy...
