4/26/25 update: For carry out - Last week for my wife’s birthday, I surprised her with a small cheese and artichoke pizza (added goat cheese) - something she’s craved for a long time. She absolutely loved it! MJ’s the only pizza place in our area that offered artichoke as a topping. I had pepperoni, both of them with Marinara sauce - love the flavor of their marinara. Had the same order yesterday. Great pizza and service. 2024 - I was going to give this a 4, but reconsidered. 1st time visitors to this establishment, as per recommendation by co-worker. Saturday at 11:00 I surprised my wife with a new restaurant. We were somewhat skeptical as we’ve had so many bad pizza experiences lately. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Service good. Pizza was great! Had a large pepperoni with pineapple added on half. My wife had the cheesecake dessert; I had the chocolate cake. This is where my 4 would have come in. I thought the cake had WAY too much frosting and WAY to sweet. I love dark chocolate anything however, the heavy frosting really detracts from an otherwise excellent cake. The 5 came back while eating the cold pizza this morning. The marinara sauce reminded me of the pizza we had in my hometown as a kid. Even cold, this pizza was great! Thank you. We’ll be back! Can’t wait to try...

Never going back again. We decided to try out this place tonight. Showed up at 5:30 pm, got seated and got our drink orders. Then didn’t see the server again for 15 mins. After putting in our order an hour went by with not a word or check in from him. We had to flag him down to ask when our order was coming and he said “maybe 15-20 mins”. 20 mins went by and I flagged him down again. This time he said “it’s coming soon”. I asked him to define “soon” and he said he would check. The food finally came out after 90 minutes! No apology for the delay or anything.

The salad was a joke. It was supposed to have prosciutto on it and there was a single piece about the size of a post-it note on there. The rest was just lettuce. As for the pizza it was incredibly mediocre. Very little cheese and hardly any flavor.

We will NEVER go back to MJ’s. Awful service, clearly poor management and very mediocre food for the prices they charge. Any place that serves wood fired pizza shouldn’t take 90 mins to make a pizza. What a joke. I can order a pizza from Domino’s and pick it...

First, the staff was super nice.

We arrived 20 mins before close and it took our young boys forever to choose their toppings but the staff never complained. They even put on a show of tossing the dough for our boys.

Second, the pizza was beyond amazing!

I haven't had pizza this good in nearly 2 decades. And I got a nostalgia hit from it of one of my old favorite small pizza places from the late 1990s. Sauce wasn't sugary at all like most places these days, toppings were generous, and the ingredients they used were amazing. The pizza was also very filling! Their dough is on the thinner side but stays soft so you can fold the crust and pick the slice up!

Third, the price was very reasonable.

It isn't cheap pizza by any means, but we have spent more at other craft pizza places and gotten less pizza.

My family and I are definitely going to return!

If I could give them 7/5 stars I would! Well done...
