This isn't necessarily about any location but the operation in general. Before the chain expanded into NW Arkansas they had awesome burgers. I'd try and eat there once on every trip to Tulsa. I'd get chili and green chilies on the burgers, and there were other toppings, I believe that jalapenos were one. I was really excited when I learned restaurants were opening in NWA... boy was I let down. Now the burgers are just meh... nothing special... and as the supreme homage to suggestive selling, many locations want you to play 20 questions on every trip through the drive through. You cannot in my experience just order a burger and say "that's it" then pay and go... no... you get "Do you want to make that a meal" or some garbage like that. "Nope"... then its "Do you want to add cheese?" No you half-wit, if I wanted cheese I would have asked for it ab initio. The last time I ate at a Whataburger I tried "I'll have a double meat Wataburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayonnaise, and spicy catsup, and that's all. Simple, concise, and final right? Apparantly not because the stupid interrogation began as usual. When I asked the inquisitor why she continued to ask me questions after I ordered she said something to the effect that she just wanted to make sure that my order was correct. It would have been correct if they'd just made me the burger that I ordered. I'd rather eat at Steak 'n Shake or even Wendy's, although Wendy's seems to have dropped in quality as well over the years. About the only thing to recommend about Whataburger is the...
Read moreThis Whataburger has absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a Whataburger. I understand it's fast food so I'm not asking a lot. This is the fourth time I've been to this Whataburger in two weeks. Twice I walked out because there was nobody at the counter for more than 5 minutes. Today I was just hungry. I walked in there was another customer waiting who had been there 5 minutes before I walked in. When I walked in I waited an additional 5 minutes until the customer walked in the back to find an employee to take out orders. Unbeknownst to us they're four people in the back. Remember this is my fourth time coming. The previous time I walked out, the manager who I assume was just another customer was having a leisurely conversation with another employee at one of the tables while I and another customer waited to be served at least 4 to 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it when I realized that the person sitting there and watching us the whole time was the store manager. I was appalled and walked out. I'm not big on leaving reviews or complaining or doing anything to get anybody in trouble. But I hope for the franchise owners sake this isn't owned by a franchisee and as a corporate store. This manager needs an on the cover boss experience and/or demoted to just the fries and taking out the trash because if he sets the standard of how this crews customer service is going to be on this shift when he's in charge.... it's a wrap. I never be back to this...
Read moreWent through the drive thru and ordered. Told them I wanted sweet tea with my order. The guy taking the order just asked if I wanted ketchup and the total. Then pull up to the window. Got to the window. The guy told me again the amount. I paid. He literally almost threw my drink at me. Then I took a drink and it was unsweet tea. I got his attention he opened the window and I just let him know that it was unsweet. He snorted at me and told me he told me my order 2 times holding up 2 fingers. I let him know I wasn't upset. Well when he gave me my sweet tea. I handed him the unsweet. He snorted at me again. I asked him his name it was Simmon. Then when he got back with my order. He might as well threw it through my window. I just left thinking he needs a break. Opened my order. There was only 2 of the tater tots in there and my breakfast sandwich was squished. I didn't go back. Just waiting to talk to a store manager. So, if you go to the Springdale location and a Simmon takes your order. Be prepared for rudeness. They really need to train their employees on customer service. I won't go back to...
