My wife's minivan was hit on September 18th, 2024. The person who hit my wife had State Farm insurance and Caliber is close to our home, has really good reviews, and is a preferred body shop of State Farm, so we went with them.
My wife told the people at the the Bentonville location that her sliding door was working before the accident, but did not work since getting hit.
The Bentonville location transferred the vehicle down to the Springdale location so my wife called down there to ensure that they knew about the sliding door and asked that it would be fixed. They couldn't guarantee the door would be covered.
That's when my wife began her calls with State Farm and Caliber - About 15 calls over the course of a month. The only thing my wife wanted to hear is that, "We understand. You will get your car back the way it was before the accident." No one would give her a straight answer if they would fix the door or not.
We finally got a lawyer involved and they agreed to make sure the door was functional like it was before the accident.
The State Farm representative told us that Matt from Caliber told them not to cover the door. This was disappointing to hear after so many phone calls. My wife felt very dismissed by Matt throughout the process.
We had to drive down to Springdale to pick up the vehicle. A rear light was not functional when we went to pick it up, they had not done the interior (where coffee was spilled due to the accident) and they failed to affix the rear cover underneath the vehicle so it immediately sprung loose when we got on the interstate. We brought it into the Bentonville location and they buttoned it up for us.
It rained a lot over the weekend that the carpet in our minivan was completely soaked. They hadn't sealed up our back door somehow. We brought it in on Monday morning. The Bentonville location sent it back down to Springdale. They found the issue and said it's fixed. We got our minivan back yesterday after 8 weeks.
Needless to say, it's not been a good experience.
*I will say that the manager, Chad, has been very kind and professional.
Caliber generally has really good reviews, but we won't...
Read moreDo not take your vehicle to Caliber Collision in Springdale. You will not be happy when you pick it your vehicle. Unfortunately, now I know why they had availability in there schedule. If the final work on your vehicle only looked as good as their brand new building! I think pictures speak a 1000 words, so I have attached a few. Try and find a certified collision facility for your vehicle. Picture one is there so called touchup paint. One of the managers stated how he was from California and that's how they did it. Well buddy your not in California anymore! Picture two and three is my side mirrors that they must’ve cleaned with car polish. Took me some time when I got home to clean my Sideview mirrors and my front window. And the last picture is a chip in the hood of my car that wasn’t there when I dropped off my vehicle. I know this because the hood of my car is something they were supposed to repair and I went over detail by detail on every scratch on my car. The 5th photo is the fender they fixed 5 mths later. Corporate never got back to me about the horrible job. Overall HORRIBLE COMPANY not...
Read moreTook my truck to them for some front end damage and the paint job went too crap fast. The body parts they replaced never lined back up. Seemed like they rushed and did a sloppy job. While my truck was in the shop I told a few people who I was using and they took their vehicles there as well and when they finally got them back they said they wish they had never taken their vehicle there and that they had to go to another place to get what they did fixed. One had brand new tires on it only been on the truck a week and they said they were going to have the front end relined and everyday they had an excuse of why or what was taking so long to get it done. Due to the fact the tires were almost worn out, they took it to another shop to have them look at it and their words were no way they had the had the front end relined and he had to buy new tires on a brand new truck. Save your money don’t ...
