Boss Man Tacos Burritos & More — Restaurant in Springdale

Stopped in to make an order for my wife, I told the girl at the front desk I wanted a Steak queen burrito add avocado and on the side there green avocado salsa, she looked at me as if she had No idea what I was talking about, as if I said it in the wrong sequence. First off, it's in the computer and you know what I'm talking about, so don't give me additude. She then asked me what sauce I wanted on the borrito, and said it came with queso or salsa of choice, so I said verde. After not giving me any kind of gesture or form of conformation that she heard everything I asked for she asked if that was everything. So in a nice tone I simply replied "Ya just the queen steak borrito with avacado and the avocado green salsa" her reply was to glare at me as if she had knifes shooting out of her eyes an said "ya". This was a To-go order so I drive all the way home and find that the verde on the borrito did not come with it but was actually an Upcharge, that was disingenuous! This place needs good management but more importantly it needs employees that understand how basic good communication works with other human beings. If I could give half a star based on my experience I would. I know for a fact there are good managers that work hard for King Borrito to have a good name, and I have a ton of respect for those establishments. Taco Tuesday was more than worth the $3 drink I had to order to get 5 tacos at $1 each but the rest of the menu… 😮 $15 for a shrimp burrito!! With no sides!!! Insane I tell ya. The staff wasn’t Very helpful with reviewing the confusing overhead menu. Mainly just staring as if I hadn’t told then it was my first visit which only made me feel pressured to order blindly. “Does the burrito come with rice and beans?” “No.” Ok🤔 “do you have rice and beans?” “Yes” an excerpt from the actual conversation. Almost $30 for just the burrito(which barely had any avocado or cheese), 5 tacos (at $1 each mind you) and two drinks is crazy! Sit down restaurant prices for below fast food quality food. Save your time and money and visit One of Springdale’s many real Spanish restaurants. Amazing food! I couldn't have had a more pleasant first experience! Unfortunately, I've never heard of this place; however, I have driven past it a few times. Last night, I made the fortune decision to give it a try over your typical late-night burger. As a first-timer, I was greeted with kindness and patience, all of my questions were answered and great suggestions were made to complete my order. I brought home cheese enchiladas, (topped with fresh avocado and cheese curds, yum!) I chose the red sauce, it was fabulous! The platter came with rice and beans; also fabulous! I will echo the other review and say that I'm also stoked to have a King Burrito around here!
