Morelia's Mexican Restaurant & Tortilleria — Restaurant in Springdale

This is the second time they mess up my order! The first time was so bad! They gave us someone else's order, & I had to go back AGAIN during my lunch break to get the order corrected. I waited close to an hour, and they didn't even offer a discount for their mistake, after I mentioned they should...they said they could give us free chips and salsa (which in my opinion wasn't even enough for the inconvenience, since that day was a lunch in with one of our clients, and I had to deal with the embarrassment). Today I decided to give them another shot, because I did enjoy their gorditas. Disappointed once again! I asked for my asada taco with cilantro and VERY LIGHT onion. Once I opened the taco it was only onion! Also I ordered a gordita de pollo, and the beans tasted like if they were straight from the can. After this experience , I don't foresee...

I love that they make their own tortillas!! I've had one bad experience where I waited 20+ minutes for a lunch torta to go - the torta was amazing but people dining-in got their food way faster than mine to-go. The food has always been fantastic and their thick homemade chips & salsa are heavenly! I'm sorry to read other people have had bad food, but if that ever happened to me I would ask them nicely to redo the food...still, I'm very fortunate that hasn't happened to me. I do agree that the servers rarely come back to check on you after they deliver your food BUT it's such a small place that you have to get their attention if you need something else or a to-go box. P.S. I always buy a package of awesome tortillas...

This is the best Mexican food we've had the pleasure of enjoying since moving out here a year ago. We will definitely be back to try more options. We had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito, a chicken sope, and a chicken taco... all were excellent and had great flavor. Their chips and salsa were amazing, as was their horchata. Can't wait to come back and sample more. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The decor was charming and clean. Great place 👌🏼 Update: We visited again a few days ago, and it was still top notch...
