This is a gem in NWA. Do you love eating Mexican food? Then visit this place instead of American- Mexican chains. The place is tiny, mostly Spanish speaking. However, somebody will be there to communicate in English too. The environment honestly can appear a bit shady. The place is tidy, although nobody is wearing any masks!! The food is freshly prepared, hot and aromatic. I started with a glass of tamarind juice. This is soooo refreshing. I ate four tacos. All of them were good. My husband ordered quesadilla. The quesadilla comes with some Mexican rice and bean paste. I love Mexican rice, but here they doesn’t put salt in it. The portion size is decent. The only thing that I missed- Nobody will give the free chips and salsa 🤭🙄😂 while return I bought a slice of flan. It’s incredible. I highly...

TL:DR It may look a bit sketchy walking in, with the air conditioning unit almost blocking the front door, but the food is terrific! Try the huaraches or sopes for sure!
Details: Yes, you have to bypass a giant air conditioning unit to get in the front door, and it looks a bit run down... but don't let that fool you - this place is delicious!

The huaraches were the second best I have had outside of Mexico, and the tacos and quesadillas were excellent as well!
Typical salsa roja and verde, authentic, but nothing overly special. Friendly service, fun place - I'll be...
Read moreTraditional Mexican food - yum!! I first tried this restaurant through BiteSquad, but since I stopped using BiteSquad for messing up other restaurant orders, my craving came up for their beef soup and I had to go in myself. It's a small quaint taqueria with a walk-up order counter and about 5 booths and 2 larger long tables. The menu is so large because they offer several different meats and they have a self serve soda fountain with Pepsi products. They also serve bottle beer and bottled Mexican Coke. The parking lot has many pot holes and about 10 spaces, but don't let that keep you from trying this place. They speak English, too, so don't let Spanish keep you from trying some traditional food. I love it and I hope you do too! PS: the prices on BiteSquad are $$ higher than going to the...
