Change of heart! We ate here quite a while ago, and had a horrible, horrible meal. I left a very accurate bad review, but the owners response was to come back and give them another chance someday. We are SO glad we did! Tonight's dinner was everything we hoped for! Gina 1, our waitress was perfectly efficient and attentive and knowledgeable. She honestly could not have been any better! The Arancini appetizer was unique and had a great taste. The crab cakes were mostly crab and spiced perfectly. The Salmon dinner was prepared perfectly. The Chicken Parmesan and homemade pasta were excellent, and there was so much chicken I wish I could've kept eating! The Seafood Medley looked incredible and disappeared fast, too. Actually, that looked so good that I'm counting on coming back to try it next time! I'm going to let the photos speak now! Mia and Dom's- thanks for a great, top-notch, beautifully prepared meal tonight. The service and meal got an easy 5 stars from our family now! Previous Review:Really had high hopes for this place! The menu looked fabulous and the atmosphere was very nice too. The Stromboli Egg rolls were really good-we ordered two. Both came with a nice dip that was placed in the middle of the dish that the egg rolls were also on. The Egg Rolls were laying in a bit of something, possible a flavored olive oil? After we finished the egg rolls I noticed something below the dip dish, sitting in the olive oil. (possibly keeping the dip dish from sliding in the oil?) After fishing it out I realized it was a little square piece of paper with printing on it! (looked to be part of an old menu) I'm going to call this practice unacceptable and disappointing. We are not the kind to complain needlessly and honestly have never returned a meal, so we let that go. Two of us ordered the Summer Harvest Salads with chicken since they sounded so wonderful. Again, we were disappointed. The chicken was pretty tough and dry and the dressing even though sounding wonderful had minimal taste. Neither of us finished the salad and that hardly ever happens to us honestly. The salmon dinner was given just an OK with a review of being overcooked as well. Really wanted to love your place-sorry! The presentation of the meals looked great, just didn't live up to what they could have been.

My husband and I tried Dom and Mia’s for the first time Saturday night. They have street parking and a parking lot in the back of the restaurant. You walk in and the atmosphere is lively and the decor is beautiful. To the right is the bar with a wine vault. Nice light fixtures throughout and just a great ambiance. We were greeted by the host/possible manager. He was very welcoming and took us to our table. We were greeted warmly by Gabriella who went over the specials with us and took our drink order. Gabriella was unsure what the “twist” was on the old fashioned on the menu. I had the bourbon blackberry sour which was really good. We started off with the scallops served in a bed of bacon cream sauce. There were 4 scallops and they were perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. Very flavorful. Gabriella dropped the appetizer off but it would have been nice if we had side plates. We had to eat them over our napkin. We ordered the orange roughy special with a tomato basil sauce and topped with crabmeat. I haven’t had orange roughy in a very long time and it was delicious. I also had a side of roasted brussel sprouts that were good. My husband ordered the chicken abruzzo. The wine sauce on top was okay just very tart and sour. It was still good just…tart.:) He ordered a side of penne and the noodles were good. Throughout our meal and visit, Gabriella was very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back because I want to try the chicken parm and the asparagus and prosciutto appetizer. The place was very nice!

Dinner night out at Dom & Mia’s this evening. First time popping in here. Nice little spot, had reservations and were seated right away. Gina was our waitress and was very kind and attentive, shout out to her. We started with a couple drinks, bread was dropped off at the table promptly. For apps it was shrimp lejon(a fav of ours) and large crab stuffed mushroom cap. Both were solid, 3 bite shrimps were filling and not a lot of filler in the crab stuffing 🍄‍🟫. Our main courses were scallops stuffed with crab imperial. My better half had the special of pan seared scallops, spinach, garlic, sun dried tomatoes in a crème sauce. I throughly enjoyed mine for sure. She mentioned maybe a dash of salt on the special but was very good nonetheless. Finally the Bianca pizza to go. Pizza was a little doughy for me personally but it was still tasty, fresh ricotta and garlic was solid on it. The cost was 135 before tip which we felt was worth it. Overall definitely will be stopping back in to try other dishes. Thanks to peeps on the DRR here for the recommendation! 🙌🏼 — eating dinner at Dom & Mia's.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, TRULY HORRIBLE SERVICE. My wife and I love going out to dinner and trying new places. This restaurant is charming inside, however, that was the only nice part. We met friends of ours for dinner and had a reservation on a Saturday night. We were seated right away and then it took 20 minutes before anyone would come over to take our drink order. Once we finally ordered drinks it took another 20 minutes for them to come out. The waiter finally came back over 45 minutes later to take our order. In the meantime no one ever offered any bread for the table. We ordered everything at once because we were starving by that point. We ordered appetizers and entrees. It took another half hour for the food to come out. When it did, it was only entrees. We never got the apps. Since our waiter never came over we told the lady who brought the food out to us that our apps never came. She asked if we still wanted them and we said yes because we were hungry and we would eat them after our entrees. Another 25 minutes go by and the apps never come. The waiter finally came back to say they were out of Calamari. We said fine but to bring out the other apps we ordered. Unsurprisingly at that point, another 20 minutes later the apps STILL NEVER CAME. At that point we had enough. We got our check and left. No one ever came over to apologize about the apps. We still don’t know what actually happened and why they didn’t come out! No one offered a complimentary dessert or drink for all the waiting and just awful lack of service. It is a shame, because the food that we did get was very good. But that means absolutely nothing when the service was as poor and awful as it was. The husband of the couple we were with couldn’t even get a second drink after he ordered it when we put in our food order. He had to go to the bar to get it himself. Good restaurant service is what makes or breaks a restaurant for us. We still enjoyed our night with our friends but boy was it frustrating and painful having to deal with the incompetence of this restaurant. This place has a LOT OF WORK to do before I would ever consider stepping foot...

We decided to try this place based on the high reviews and unfortunately, we do not share the same sentiment as many reviewers.

Service: We did order take out, but the service from the waitress who helped us with our order was great. She was super friendly and helped get our order quickly.

Atmosphere: The decor and interior looked spacious and clean based on the brief observation we made while picking up our food. We really like how it looks.

Food: We ordered 4 items - Eggplant Parm, Chicken Alfredo, Veal Parm, and Calamari appetizer. Eggplant Parm: Probably the best dish we had that night, except we felt there wasn't enough sauce, the sauce was overly acidic and unbalanced, and it was bland. Chicken Alfredo: The chicken was dry, the overall dish was bland, and the sauce was clumpy and not really all that saucy. Made the pasta dry and unpleasant. Veal Parm: The worst dish of the night. The breading on the veal tasted old and stale. There was just this unpleasant off tasting flavor to it that we could not finish it. Calamari: It was soggy and oily. While we understand doing take out can contribute to the sogginess, we believe using a different lid that offers a little vent would help tremendously. There are other restaurants who serve the same dish in the same style of take out container, but there is a vent on their lids to help mitigate the sogginess.

Not sure if we'd order from this place again, but maybe we will consider physically dining in to see if the food holds up to what others have...
