While Freddy's has great food and custard, I didn't want to come here because the last time I came I got food poisoning because they have too many kids playing back there in the kitchen. Today my daughter talked me into it and guess what? A horrible experience ensued. As I was pulling up to the window, I say "Hi, how are you?" The lady at the window, grumbled something, snatched my card, shut the window and tapped it on the machine before I could tell her to cancel the oreo ice cream sandwiches. I thought they came pre package, but they don't. And something just didn't sit right with my spirit to let them " hand scoop" my sandwich. Especially since last time I had gotten food poisoning from this same location. The lady at the window has an attitude, started talking chit behind the window because I wanted a refund. I've been nothing but polite til this point, so her attitude is questionable? She was drunk. She then had the nerve to double charge my card instead of just cancelling the ice cream sandwiches. So she charged me $50+ in total that will not go back on my card for 7 to 10 days. She did it on purpose and continued to talk chit when I explained to her that she had made an unnecessary error. A young girl kept watching and walking back and forth so I asked her was she the manager. She wasn't. She was sent to get our drinks and stop instigating, by me, because the " manager" doesn't know how to "manage". The lady reeking of alcohol and halitosis and a hint of gingivitis was the manager and her name is apparently Vera. I was shocked that Freddy's would have a manager which such a bad personality and sour personal hygiene representing that suburban location. I hope Vera can get a stern warning about her hygiene and attitude. Also some training on how to properly greet a customer and how not slam the drive through window because she doesn't want to work. Also encouraging her to not be full of liquor while she's working. I was livid because the money she took off my card was for my children and she gave not one care as she drunkenly ran her mouth to me and asked me "Are you done?" That is so unacceptable. No one pays for disrespect. I would love to see someone in her position that would appreciate the job. She deserves to sweep the floor, not interact...
Read moreUpdated two years later, when I figured I'd try it again... Big mistake.
Took 50 minutes to get my order when they said it would be ten minutes. Seriously waiting around for 50 minutes? Worst part is my order was sitting there for thirty minutes. I asked the guy at the food pickup counter if I could have my food and he told me no, I had to wait on the lady at the checkout counter. Idk how this place stays in business... My food is right there. I can see it. I already paid for it. Just give it to me when you are sitting there doing absolutely nothing.
While that's overall frustrating, credit is due where its due. Food is good and the staff is very nice. Good people working at a poorly operating business.
(And just like last time, the last said "why did they give you onion rings and not curds?) Before she even gave it to me and had to fix it... So that still happens
Original review: Whether you buy from door dash or you go there yourself, you can have confidence your order will be wrong and items will be missing!
At first I thought it was just a problem with door dash. Their food was good so I started going there myself directly to avoid order errors... However, my food was still wrong and parts of my order were missing, even when I ordered at the drive through.
Shame to have a restaurant with good food, but that you can't count on to give you what you order. Either a serious operations problem or someone's stealing my food or money!! Never had a consistent problem like this at any...
Read moreI've been here a few times and the drive thru is always so slow. Not them taking the order but actually receiving the food. I was the only car in the drive thru line and waited 5 mins at the window to receive my food. He gave me my concrete as soon as I paid but my order, which was a single steakburger California style with fries. He asked if I wanted sauce when I paid and I asked for fry sauce which he said he'll go and get but by the time I got my food he had forgot to give me the sauce so I requested it again. He did not advise why I waited and I watched him and someone else through the window serve different people on inside of the restaurant. Once he gave me my food he did apologize for the wait. The food there is okay, nothing spectacular. It was a $2 upcharge for a mini peanut butter crunch (snickers) concrete instead of a drink. My favorite thing there is actually their grilled chicken sandwich and I add Freddy sauce to it but sometimes they overcook the chicken and it ruins the whole meal which is why I don't go here as much as I would like to since I don't want to pay for overcooked food and I always get it to go so I don't find out until I'm at home that it...
