Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Springfield Township

If I could give this Rita's negitave stars I would. This used to be one of the best Rita's in the area, however I think the proprietor was a bit lax on hiring because a number of the current employees are extremely rude and have bad attitudes. I went in this morning to get ice for my family after church. There was no one in the store and after waiting several minutes I knocked on the window only to be greeted by the worst mannered, worst tempered, downright unplesant child, when I asked for the contact information of the manager or owner she gave me attitude said she was the manager and basically told me that my concerns didn't matter and to leave, this is highly unprofessional! I also witnessed and have photographic proof that she spit in my family's ice.this is a hygiene and safety concern and I will be contacting your corporate office. We will no longer be frequenting any of your establishments. Until you seriously look into your establishments staffing.

YOU DO accept APPLE PAY!! Because Confucius and Freud could not figure it out. One was clearly a teenager and did not know what I was even talking about, so I don’t know where you’ve been living for the last decade. And the other one when asked by the one who gets to vote on matters affecting future generations said without even attempting to try stated that “we don’t do that.” The machine is set up for Apple Pay if you accept credit and debit cards you do you accept Apple Pay. Just because you don’t know how to do something that doesn’t mean it’s not able to be accomplished. You just don’t know how. I’m taking a walk with my phone not a fist full of money. Probably the largest assortment of flavors I’ve ever seen at a Rita’s! Outside seating and two parking lots on each side of the building. I mean they have 8+ ice cream flavors and like 12+ water ice flavors! Never seen so many opinions at any Rita’s. The crew here is super friendly mostly young adult with an adult supervisor who is kind and professional too! This is the Rita’s I go to when I want something new, unexpected or unusual lol trust me there’s so much to choose from! Clean outside but doesn’t stay that way for long - this place get packed!
