Epic failure, poor customer service, greasy pizza! I ordered a large amount of pizzas the day before my sons party to have delivered at 12:30 the following day. As anyone who’s had a kids party at an outside venue knows, the first hour is the activity the second hour your put in the party room to eat and have cake. At 12:40 no pizza was delivered so I called and with no admission from Sciarrino’s themselves I had realized they had forgotten about my order! This is a party throwers worst nightmare! I had kids coming to me by 12:45 complaining that they were hungry....by 1pm all of my 42 guests, 30 of them children were sitting in front of empty plates waiting to be fed. Finally 50 minutes late, a very rude delivery driver, whom I pre tipped $10 the day before gets out of his car with an attitude walks right past me drops the pizza on the table and walks out without saying ONE word to me, like I inconvenienced him or something?!?!? I waiting until the party was over and fuming, I called Sciarrino’s to air my complaints. They offered me $10 back?! Finally I agreed on $20 bc they would offer no more and it’s been 2 days and still no refund on my account. You think they would have took it upon themselves to rectify the situation and offer a discount off the back, or even a simple apology but no. I will NEVER deal with them again and parents think twice about giving them the responsibility of catering your event! Their pizza isn’t even that good....very greasy!!! I’m still frustrated about their lack of empathy and response for what was truly a...
Read moreI ordered through DoorDash. The extremely hot gnocchi came in a thin paper bag. When I picked it up in front of the driver, the bag disintegrated and the meal ended up all over the floor, walls and myself (and a pricey work dress). I called and politely (and almost laughing about the situation) requested a refund of the gnocchi only ($7.50).
I immediately indicated I would be willing to pay all service fees, delivery fees and for the Cherry Coke I kept.
The manager refused and blamed DoorDash (and alluded that I should have used their delivery driver - as to put the blame on me). I asked again and indicated that I order from them often, hoping he would see that the cost of gnocchi is worth rectifying the situation and instead, he maintained that it’s “DoorDash’s problem.”
Admittedly, I ended the call by using colorful language but by then, it was clear that I never wanted to do business with them again!
I thought my request was completely reasonable considering I would have still paid about $10 for a bottle of soda!
In reality, my dress needs to be dry cleaned and my work needs to have the carpets cleaned all due to them using a thin paper bag for a hot entree (and not using a cardboard divider). Their customer service motto appears to be: blame...
Read moreNot too shabby… it’s good pizza. The crust is not a thin…not New York Style pizza but pretty good pizza for the area because it’s not good pizza around Delaware County. Everything is pack with too much dough… almost like Pan Pizza. But not this place… the sauce is good, the ground beef is good! They don’t have beef pepperoni which should be added given that it’s 2023 and there’s too many studies on pork and it’s a big reason why it’s cheap to buy because nobody is eating it. So that’s why they don’t get 5 stars. Service was pretty good, not over the top but respectable. Will definitely order from here again. I’m still on my search for New York Style pizza without having to drive to Sciarrino’s in Delaware or Zio’s in downtown Philly. But so far this is the best pizza in Delco…can it be better? Yes if they thin out the crust a bit and add Beef Pepperoni to the menu. Then there would be no...
