A Street Pub — Restaurant in Springfield

I came in with my mom to grab some food to go. We had never been before and just wanted to get an early dinner to-go. It was around 3:30-4pm on a Friday so the place was empty which is to be expected for a pub around time of day! We had the best experience, the two people working were friendly, attentive and seemed genuinely happy to have us there even if only for 10-15 minutes. They answered any questions we had, offered us to sit outside on the patio while we waited and brought our food out to us. They also offer a punch-card so be sure to inquire about that if you go. Nice atmosphere in this locally owned and operated Bar & Grill. I always prefer to try somewhere different other than the big chain restaurants that serve basically the same meals, anywhere that you visit them.

My sister and I both ordered the lunch special which was a double patty smash burger and fries for 9.99. The burger was not greasy by any means, it was definitely 100% beef and delicious!

Had the chance to check out the recently revamped A Street Pub for my weekly lunch out with my love. We each ordered a sandwich. I had the Drunk-n-Dunk with onion rings. It was fantastic. The beer cheese sauce is so good and the onion rings have the perfect amount of batter to be crispy without falling apart. He got the Broken window chicken sandwich with Cajun fries. He loved the big chunks of Avocado. We both enjoyed the way they toasted the whole sandwich. The service was great. We ate outside and didn't get forgotten at all.
