Aileens Latin Kitchen — Restaurant in Springfield

Let's give a shout to Aileens. New Latin spot on Cottage Street in Springfield. We ordered a few things in order to give a fair review. Let's start with their empanadas. We got beef and chicken. These empanadas were bursting with flavor, they were full of meat and the dough was amazing. Chicken had a slight kick of heat. Also ordered Arroz con gandules and Pernil (Spanish rice with Pork) the food was delicious. I added some sweet plantains and those were ripe to perfection and well cooked. Ordered 2 Chuletas ( pork chops) to top it off. They were fried well. I would personally lower the salt or Adobe on them... but other than that..they were very good. The place was bright and the people were very friendly. A smile goes a long way. Aileens...

First time there with my kids and we loved it. Pernil & alcapurria was a bit dry but had flavor. Mayo ketchup sauce- not my fav(I think they add more to it) but it’s ok . . Rice was delicious! Both white & yellow. Chicken stew -. Beef stew- delicious. Serullos de queso & chicken empanadas - very delicious! Employees were very nice & attentive. I would agree the portions were smaller than most other places. But overall Food was good! Definitely I will...

Me & My Girlfriend been going here since around when they opened I’m going to give them all around 5 stars because the vibe is always awesome , food is always fresh & hot & taste beautiful! If you haven’t been here yet you should definitely check it out . My favorite is the ham & cheese sandwiches, even the tripleta sandwiches they make in the morning for when your in a rush or just don’t want to cook they’ll definitely satisfy...
