I went there and the hostess asked me if it was just me tell me to take a seat while they fix a table the Mexican lady looked at me up and down half an hour went by and while waiting for my table other people showed up so I stood up and looked and there was about 10 tables open I asked the waitress to please set me add a table and he said that he thought I was waiting on an Uber meals the waitress new I requested to dine in. I felt harassed not a place that I would recommend for anybody to go and eat the service was lousy the menu displayed a double shot of their tequila and when the waiter came I asked for the drink and he said that it was expensive obviously I came in to dine he mentioned that the picture was incorrect and that if I wanted to double shot it will be extra he charged me $18 for one shot of his tequila and another $8 for the second shot I ordered cilantro chicken tacos and it came with refried beans and a little bit of rice the refried beans were spread on the plate as if it was a paste with barely no rice the hostess that never sat me kept coming to my table asking me if I was ready to order the chips with the hot sauce they brung out with the salsa was burnt being Puerto Rican Hispanic I felt uncomfortable dining there Upon finishing my dinner two beers in a shot my bill came to $58 with the tip was $ 65.00 pay my bill went to the restroom and there was no soap for the hands nor did they have napkins to wipe your hands I got treated as if they really didn't want my business and as a Puerto Rican Hispanic I would not recommend this place the waitress is terrible in getting you seated their drinks are overrated and I wouldn't go there ever again I tried to support them because they were a Mexicans new restaurant and I would never contribute to helping is Mexican restaurant I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody the price is overrated and I still tip them because that's the type of gentleman I am the tequila tasted as if it was watered down such a waste of money and my time they treated me as if they didn't want Puerto Ricans there dining in the restaurant that's my...
Read moreI’ve driven past this restaurant so many times, always wondering if I should give it a try. Today was the day—and I was seriously craving Mexican food. Over the years, I’ve vacationed in Mexico and worked for Big Sugar in Belle Glade, so I’m no stranger to authentic Mexican cuisine.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly “¡Hola!”—spoken w passion. Luckily, I know enough conversational Spanish to keep up, and I was seated near the front of the restaurant. As for the tacos? I smothered them in the green salsa and devoured them so fast, it was like I was drinking them. I was that hungry—and they were that good.
This was the first truly authentic Mexican meal I’ve had since leaving South Florida. I’ll definitely be...
