I came here with my coworkers specifically looking to support a black owned business. After the place we originally chose was closed, we went to a fusion place but left because they were not serving the type of food we were looking for, nor they even acknowledge we were there for nearly 10 minutes. We then continued to search on google and found Auntie Adrienneās which was just a short walk away! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff. They took the time to explain the menu and were patient, answering all of our questions. We were disappointed that there was no dine-in BUT the food was well worth it! We ordered the lemon pepper & sweet chili chicken wings, cheese fries, all the sides, and 2 desserts- banana pudding and strawberry shortcake. The food took a while before it was ready so we eagerly rushed back to the office to eat. Everything we ordered was awesome and so delicious! I took my left overs home for my daughters to try and my 9 years old said the wings were āfireā lol. My older daughter took one bite of the smack-n- cheese and she immediately asked me where I got the food from and asked to get more. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I will definitely...

The service girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful.
The sitting area could be better and more spacious as people can pile up with the time it takes to prepare the food.
Also, there seems to be time specific food options. Example: "after 1pm we don't make fries" or something to that affect. There was another one, but the taste of the food made up for it. There's a big board of options, but some based on time of day may not be available. It is not good business, especially having to be verbally told. It's not displayed anywhere.
I recommend ordering ahead and just picking up. A lot of people were doing that. The food is made fresh, so I see why it takes so long. Area for waiting, and speed could be improved, but they have a good thing here with the taste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was so disappointed when I decided to try here for the first time. They only had 2 people āactively ā working another was babysitting and entertaining someone. I was told my food would take 20-30 min it ended up taking an hour. The yams were soupy, the rice was mushy, and the only time the other worker decided to jump in and help was after another customer and myself spoke up about the wait being a half an hour. I really was hoping this would be a new black business I could support regularly, but unfortunately I will not be going back. The food was not worth the wait and the wait could have been avoided with just a little...
