11/29 (Fri) - Early this afternoon after 1pm myself and my family ( my son, brother-in-law, and his son) arrived. And after a few minutes we were seated. The employee at the door was great and very courteous. Initially when we were met with our waitress, things were good. She took our drink order [4 strawberry lemonades] and 10-12 mins later, we finally receive our drinks. We gave our food order and then we waited...and waited...and waited. Two o'clock came and went. The two minors (8 and 4) sat and wait; and did not once complain. As the minutes progressed, my brother-in-law and I was getting concerned. Here it is now, an hour, and we haven't received our food or any promptness in communication with our waitress. It was approximately 2:30 til we got our food and with that said, there were mistakes made to those orders. My son didn't get his sweet bbq boneless wings the way it usual would be. My son and I was willing to accept the bbq sauce dipping cup. And that took 5-6 mins. The other minor didn't receive his wings til minutes later after we got the bulk of our food order. It got to the point where I had to address our concerns to a different waiter. It was over a hour and a half til we were preparing to eat our food. We had to change gear and take our food to go since now we were pressed for time. We paid and notified the other waiter and left very disappointed in today's service. We didn't have enough faith in our initial waitress to wait and pay since there were so many delays and failures to communicate that. No tell me how long it would have taken to do car payment of our order via the lack of availability of our waitress.
It's understandable for any business operation to be stretched thin on one of the most busiest times of the season with Black Friday. But for my 8-yr to verbalize his disappointment and my 4-ur old nephew to feel awkward about his dining experience says alot. It'll be some time, if ever, will I attend this particular fanchaise restaurant. I do enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings...my family enjoys B-Dubs, but there was no way I couldn't share our recent experience with them. We hope this establishment...
Read moreAll was well around 4:45 on a Saturday. Did notice that the lot is pretty empty while the surrounding restaurant's parking lots were filling up (which I've come to realize the reason). Been to four different BWW locations and given it four chances. The old saying fool me once... This location in particular tipped the scale. Seated quickly, as there was pretty much nobody there. Plenty of staff wandering around. Ordered an app and drinks. Received our drinks and placed an order. With the order we ordered a to-go box of 10 wings for the boy that was at home. Requested sweetener for tea and never received it. Had to track the waitress down to get it. A different staff member brought out the app. Drinks low, app gone, waited and waited. No Waitress, no food, no service. Finally our food came after about 45 minutes by a different staff member. All good right, no. The whole order was boxed up to go. The worst part is that it was cold. Clearly had been sitting in the carry out for far too long. Waitress finally shows up and offers to plate it up. Frustration set in prior to receiving our meal all boxed up as we are traveling through and really didn't want to wait another hour. Waitress took our drinks for refill and didn't get them for a good 10 mins. There was no attempt to make it right other than plating cold food. My wife's ranch chicken wrap did not have ranch so now she has to pour it on. Just got really sick of this place fast. After being there for way too long, paid the bill and left. Not happy at all. Spend way too much money to get such poor service and food. I don't know what all the hype is about this place. I really don't know what the hell is going on at this restaurant, but the empty parking lot says all. The locals know. I will not be dining at another BWW anywhere again. I do not recommend. Read moreIf I could give it it 0 stars, I would. Overall, in 14 years of going to B-Dubs, this was by far the worst experience. We had several issues from the start, 1/ smokers on the patio while children present 2/ food came out incorrect 3/ server was absent for most of our dining experience, and didn’t adhere to our requests. This establishment is an embarrassment to the BDubs franchise and should be audited extensively.
Management: I spoke to Tony who described himself as “one of them” when referenced as a manager. This person does not belong in a position of leadership, as they do not know the fundamentals of business or service responsibility. He stated it was our responsibility to communicate issues, for example: we needed to identify smokers on the patio so they could do something about it, where servers are entering and exiting constantly and participating. Overall, he was very little help in resolving our issues and had a poor attitude in general.
Food: Our wings were brought out completely dry to the touch, which was presented to Tony, who then stated he would have them remade in “3 minutes.” Additionally we ordered tenders which didn’t come out without any sauce, and he stated “they come out like that sometimes.” These excuses don’t reflect well on the business or consumers who spend time and money in the restaurant. The item was remade and brought to the table 15 minutes later.
Service: Our server was a ghost. Nothing more I’d like to comment on her as it’s useless when management is lackluster to lead the team.
All said and done, we paid our full check, gave Tony a well-deserved reality check, and exited. Worst service in all of Springfield IL. Avoid...
