Caracas House — Restaurant in Springfield

We thought they closed, my wife called and they went to voicemail. They actually called us back! That's awesome, that makes me really respect that people working there because they're hustling for the money they get and that's respectable! So there's that and then there's also the food, just read the other reviews I'm not going to put a thousand characters into this. I will say that it is so damn good, get the yucca fries, they'll spoil regular french fries for you for the rest of your life. I've been many times and they NEVER disappoint! The food is always amazing - I never worry about walking away dissatisfied or hungry. They are always incredibly kind. One thing that really stands out to me is how much care they put into their space - they have turf down, nice tables with umbrellas, and there is ALWAYS someone there wiping down tables to ensure cleanliness. A lot of food truck tables are swarming with flies/bess and you WILL NEVER find that here.

You can absolutely tell they take pride in their work, their space, their craft, and their overall presentation. I will forever continue...

Oh. My. Goodness. My husband and I ate at Caracas House last night and it was incredible. I can’t believe we didn’t take pics, but we sampled three different arepas (pabellon, domino, and rumbera), each different yet equally delicious. My husband couldn’t get over the tastiness of the sweet plantains in the pabellon.

The owner of the cart has made his area super welcoming and cute with clean picnic tables, umbrellas, and an AstroTurf floor that makes his corner of the parking lot less parking lot-ish. Really hoping word catches on about this place and we all keep showing up for what he’s...
