Nathalie African food — Restaurant in Springfield

I just ate here for the first time today, my husband and I both got the beef egusi with fufu and 3 sambusas! We have never had African food before but it definitely blew my expectations out of the water! I have been wanting to try fufu for literally years and when I found out about this place I had to have it! The service was wonderful, the lady who took my order was kind and she answered my questions! It took a bit for the food to be brought out to me but it was clearly freshly made and so delicious! So I came here a couple months ago and got the fufu and egusi it was so amazing that I thought about it for months up until now and I got some today well I tell you I was soo excited anyway I got home ready to eat and I open it and first notice how thick the egusi is cause it wasn't like that last time but i tried it anyways and it tasted like a cup of salt I tried more thinking it would get better or something because I couldn't believe it I even tried putting some other ingredients in it to wash out the extremely salty taste but it didn't work I've never been so disappointed spending...

This was absolutely delicious. No complaints other than my stomach isn't bigger so I can keep eating. We had goat stew with sambusa and fufu. The goat was melt-off-the-bone tender!!! The fufu was a weird experience for me but tasted great when dipped in the stew. And the sambusa? Light, flakey, and buttery just popping with flavor. I absolutely will be coming...
